Nozawa Bar

Chef Fuji is simply the best. As a long time fan of his culinary creations in San Diego and now in Beverly Hills, I feel lucky to be able to indulge at Nozawa Bar in such an intimate setting. Chef Fuji’s attention to detail, culinary skill, and ability to entertain his guests for the evening are just some of the reasons why we keep going back. Best sushi in LA without question.

After a bunch of research I chose NB for my girlfriend's birthday dinner. Start to finish the omakase was such an enjoyable and memorable meal, I'd highly recommend. The service was impeccable, almost immediately refilling sake, water, and removing plates in time for each additional course. Overall we really enjoyed the variety of the dishes - from Nigiri to sashimi, hand rolls to oysters, etc. The rice is served warm and was the best rice we've ever had. And of course the fish was amazing. All while enjoying the ambiance of the intimate 10-person dining room and engaging with Chef Fujita often.

This place is AMAZING! Nozawa Bar is located within Sugarfish in a back room. It is basically a private sushi show for 10 customers. Everyone is seated at the same time and enjoys a chef selection of food items during the meal. The food is top notch and the atmosphere is incredible. The experience is expensive compared to other dining options, but for an omakase meal, it is actually quite reasonable. Highly recommend.

I went to this restaurant for my wedding anniversary dinner. We were led to a private room with a counter, and the system was such that all the customers sitting at the counter were served the dishes simultaneously. The chef's friendly and lively talk created a fun atmosphere that brought everyone together. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, and the dishes were expertly prepared by a top-class chef. It was truly a restaurant that made me feel like I made the right choice coming here.
