Yazawa Beef

Always wanted to try Yazawa wagyu since forever... Finally decided to get it for our 12th anniversary and birthdays dinner. We got the A5 Wagyu Assorted Bento (added Tongue & Harami), Kalbi Bento, Garlic rice, Udon, OX Tail soup and salad, total come up to be $197. It is quite expensive, especially when the portions are not that big. The wagyu are superb, grilled to perfection. It doesn't really melt in your mouth, however, the taste is really delicious. The only regret I have would be the ox tail soup and salad. The soup is bland and hardly any meat, it is definitely a rip off. The salad is great, but for $13, i think it is a little too much. Will I dine there again? Probably for special occasions only.

If you are going to spend $500 for a 2-person meal, I can recommend 20+ other restaurants that are going to give you a better experience. There is a great divide between the price and the value of this restaurant. The service was mediocre at best, the ambiance was indifferent, and the food was fine, thanks. Take it for what it’s worth, it’s not worth it.

Wow !! Quality all around. The meat was phenomenal – we got the Signature Omakase, which came with a 3-sample appetizer, and multiple rounds of meat. The Yazawa Yaki, dipped in egg broth, was mouth watering! We had to get another order to wrap up the night. The service was amazing too – staffs were so nice and knowledgeable! Love love love; really satisfied my cravings for A5 wagyu

Went here for dinner the other night service started out great the food was great as well it is expensive but you are getting great quality. As I said service in the beginning was great our waiter was very Nice and helpful. Then as soon as we were on our last bit of meat it’s like the waiter disappeared I asked for a drink refill 3 times never came till we ordered dessert and the other waitress who was helping same thing. Then we probably waited another 30 min just to get our bill we just went up to where you pay cuz no one came back to us. Our waiter was drinking and socializing with another table that was extra loud and annoying the whole dinner (this restaurant isn’t big). What kind of waiter just forgets about your guest? Especially with the price you pay here you would expect Exceptionable service paying over $1,000 for dinner (4 ppl). Also the waiter didn’t even say anything as we left. If you are a fan of Wagu this place is great for you. It was good just don’t think I will ever eat here again due to the service we received. Good luck!

The omasake menu only come with the meat. No veggies and dessert at all. The food was ok but extremely overpricing. We ordered a garden salad, and it only comes with 2 pieces of broccoli, 2 snap peas, and some mixed green salad…cost $12… We also ordered a special garlic rice, the rice is extremely plain, we have to used the salad dressing to balance the taste.🙄 Also the garlic is burned since the dish is in a hot pot and our server did not serve it on time… cost us another $24 If you really want to try a Japanese bbq omasake for the first time, I highly recommend you go to YAKIYA in Hacienda Heights, they have 18 courses come with the yuzu juice, salad, oxtail soup, dessert, tasty wagyu beef and something you may never have before. Much cheaper, and better service.
