I had a lovely Mellow’s experience, being Caribbean I find it very hard to find restaurants that are “Caribbean Authentic” but I’ve definitely found my spot it reminds me of when im Back at home, Food is made from and with Love, Presentation wise it’s stunning, Staff are very professional and attentive very good service, the chefs are very nice kudos to them and The drinks are too damn good. If considering please dont hesitate you will love the experience. I had the Jerk Chicken Breast XL meal with sweet chill prawn, dauphinoise potatoes with Rice and peas. And Drinks wise I had the Mellow Dramatic 10/10 🩷

I had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday roast at Mellows Bar & Restaurant, and it was an experience worth sharing. The menu was a delightful surprise, especially with its unique combination of traditional and Caribbean flavors. The curry goat was tender and rich in flavor, melting in the mouth with every bite. The oxtail was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a deep, savory taste that lingered pleasantly. However, the standout for me was the jerk lamb. It was exquisitely seasoned, striking the right balance between spicy and smoky, and it was cooked just right, retaining its juiciness. What made the meal even more enjoyable was the warm and inviting atmosphere of the place. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was comfortable and memorable. The ambiance of Mellows Bar & Restaurant, with its cozy setting and subtle decor, added to the overall delightful experience. I would highly recommend Mellows Bar & Restaurant to anyone looking for a unique dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Caribbean cuisine or just looking to try something new, this place will surely impress you with its flavors, service, and ambiance. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

First time at Mellows on a Sunday afternoon after hearing some great reviews of the place. The service was okay, bit of a long wait for the food to come out. I had the Sunday Vegan Roast and my fiancè had the Chickpea Curry with Rice and Peas. The Sunday Roast was nice overall and the portion size is generous. In my opinion the vegan seitan steak was a bit plain and the Yorkshire Pudding was missing but I only realised this afterwards and wasn't told about this initially. My fiancè really enjoyed her Chickpea Curry though and said it had great flavours. The mocktails were also very nice. We will be returning customers to try the other food!

This was my 3rd visit, and again, the food was amazing👌🏾 the service was also on point. We went for lunch, but my previous visits were both during the evening, however, due to the restaurant being bright and clear with daylight. You could clearly see the repair work needed on the ceiling and walls and condition of the padded seats, which need replacing. I was disappointed because the restaurant, despite the excellent quality of food; has been neglected & needs investing. I would love to see the decor and furniture updated (changing the takeaway polystyrene boxes to labled food boxes with labled bag)to give a more luxurious feel to match the service and food offered, so the customer has a full experience.
