I didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food. Came here for a Simply Soul event which was amazing, loved every minute. Great music, good crowd. Nice bar by the canal side.

Had a great afternoon today at Penny Black's, The White Party by Simply Soul. Lovely vibes, the kind of music I could dance all night to. Would just like to add, I didn't have any food, just didn't want to leave a bad review! Thank you 😊

An excellent place to drink, socialise, enjoy live sports, in short suitable to all age groups located near canal side at Mailbox serving huge variety of beers, ciders, spirits, and cocktails. Nothing could be better than this, everything in one bucket … Cheers!!

Very nice place lovely atmosphere went there for the soul afternoon great vibe but on a negative note just a bit slow on serving 20 mins I was still waiting to order some drinks and this happend twice on the same day I had to give up waiting as no one seems to want to come to the other end of the bar and setve..and I was not the only one...

Chilled out bar at the back of the mailbox, looking out over the water now serving delicious food.
Kitchen has recently been taken over, serving beautiful Indian dishes (small plates + main meals). So tasty and beautifully presented with home made sauces and marinades.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, 100% will be coming again!

Food was 10/10 and quality has been kept high on the multiple times I’ve been. Will be a returning customer. Huge selection of drinks and cocktails on offer and also in a prime convenient location on the canal side. Will be my go to spot in the summer

Went for drinks after work with a group on a Monday and saw there was a new Indian Menu. We thought to give it a try and we were not disappointed, the food tasted amazing and was presented well. The customer service was so good and everyone was so friendly we had a great laugh. Prices are good and portion sizes were amazing as mailbox normally have small portions. Would deffo recommend to anyone visiting the mailbox! ❤️

I regularly visit to have a few drinks then came across that PennyBlacks now offer Indian Tapas food I tried the Peri Peri wings, Butter Chicken and Naan. The food was exceptionally presented and tasted really good. Highly recommend
