This establishment takes you back in time! Great environment and even greater staff! One such member named rocky (formally rockstar) is nothing but polite and adds to an establishment already oozing with good vibes! The food, phenomenal! An absolute hotspot for rugby boys and banter!

Unbelievable establishment, the atmosphere is unmatched in the county. Rocky lives up to his reputation as a super star, the hospitality, the food and the drinks are unmatched. Best pub in Brum. We come to the goose for Rocky and the great pints. Highly recommend!

Been coming here at the last couple of days while I’ve been to town and I’ve met the manager who’s absolutely lovely and friendly and who’s also in a positive attitude she has blonde hair, she’s very welcoming and politely also the food is very fresh and very good deals on the 241 cocktails and spirits

Came in to watch the football, served by liz. Fantastic lady!!! Could not do enough for me and my friends. Brilliant visit, great food & drink. Highly recommend 👍

Excellent pub, real character and great atmosphere both when quiet (for a quiet pint) or jumping when all the students and locals arrive. I have to drive today so 0 percent alcohol in a cold glass, does the job...👍

A very beautiful pub with lots of space.
The menu is diverse and ranges from the classic Fish and Chips to steaks. The food is good for the price and the selection of beer is also nice.

Great pub. Helpful and welcoming staff. Tasty food. Comfy environment. Gave us a takeaway container and carrier bag to take our leftovers with us. Staff went that little bit extra that makes all the difference. Very enjoyable lunch out.

Staff really friendly. Food was good and tasty. Had a problem with a dessert but was soon rectified Prices £ . Lots of students coming and going . Offers on free drink with certain meals. Lots of TVs around to watch sports. Went at lunchtime Atmosphere was good . Toilets checked and clean. Usual graffiti behind toilets doors . Really don’t know why people do that and have the time !! No car park but found a space on a street opposite. We couldn’t eat all the food . Staff offered us a carton and brown bag to take the rest home . Great idea for those with a smaller appetite .Yes I would definitely go again.
