Mythos Greek Taverna

A few girl friends and I went to Mythos for the first time last night for dinner, and it certainly will not be the last. There is a vast selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. You will not leave Mythos hungry! The presentation of the dishes were immaculate and flavours were so delicious. Portion sizes were large enough to share amongst a few of us. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming with wonderful decor and great Greek music. We were served by Drina who had great energy, she was proficient and so friendly. Anyone looking for amazing Greek food should definitely check out Mythos. We cannot wait to go back again soon!

There were four of us in our party two of whom had never eaten Greek food before and were slightly apprehensive. We had starters , main courses , a sharing desert including an amazing rose ice cream plus cocktails . We rated the food out of ten 8.5 to 9.5 .They lost some points on too much ice in one cocktail. Our waitress Anita was extremely helpful and efficient. Never rushed and allowed to enjoy a wonderful long lunch.

Lovely Greek restaurant, (right opposite the hippodrome), we will definitely be coming back, we had a mixed grill to share between 2, beautifully cooked so tasty. With a side salad. The staff are really friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed, and welcoming, the decor is also very beautiful, with thelights in the trees with the flowers, gorgeous!!!

THE best Greek restaurant in Birmingham. Having come from a Greek Cypriot background myself, I can honestly say this is very authentic Greek. Cooked fresh, amazing service and the atmosphere is incredible. I’d recommend the mixed grill for one and calamari as my faves but it’s all so nice! Great cocktails too if you want to celebrate a special occasion.

If you like Greek you will live this restaurant. If you've not had Greek try this restaurant and you will love it. Felt very authentic great decor. Food was like actually being in Greece. The pre theatre deal had enough choice of the right things. Portions were spot on and the food tasted phenomenal. Good value too. We will be going back to try the non theatre menu and we are not even from Birmingham. Excellent place in an excellent location. Great staff.
