Giggling Squid - Harborne

We have been to their Stratford Upon Avon branch before and like them, and it was our first time in Harborne. We went with a group of friends on a saturday afternoon. The first thing we noticed is that this place is more spacious, and they have an excellent lunch menu where you can try smaller portions of more of their offerings. I had the Royal box that comes with Lamb Massaman curry, jasmine rice, duck spring roll, and a prawn dish. Daughter had the crispy chicken, pork dumplings. Our table had various other food items. They were all good. Service was good too.

Visited this evening to celebrate my partners birthday, just the two of us and we had such a lovely time! We are both allergy sufferers, and the staff were so helpful and thorough with everything. All dishes came labelled. Super friendly service and lovely relaxing/chilled atmosphere. The mocktails were incredible. The food was delicious! Great options on the menu for both of us (one coeliac and one nut allergy sufferer). The staff even bought out a complementary dessert for my partners birthday with candles! Overall lovely night and we will 100% be visiting again soon! Thank you ☺️🦑

I went in for dinner celebrate my wife’s birthday. The Starter CHANG MAI was impressive and excellent taste, Hawker-Style Moo Ping (the pork skewer) was chargrilled, the smell was so good, it just like having them in Asia street food! It match with the dipping sauce was so great! The Salt and Pepper Squid was so good. The Salad, spring rolls and the wings were great too! I would highly recommend Must Eat! I would order again next time. For the mains, we both liked seafood, so we order “From the Water” , SALMON PANEANG and GIANT BUTTERLY KING PRAWN PAD THAI, the Salmon in a creamy curry sauce which is quite special, the Salmon was deep fried, it’s good to go with the TOM YUM FRIED RICE. The Pad Thai could be do better with sweet and sour favour, that normally Thai restaurant do, the King Prawns was big and tasty. The atmosphere was good. The waitress were friendly and attentive. Overall had a good experience.

Really nicely decorated. Welcoming and relaxing. Service was polite and pleasant. Server made sure all our questions regarding if food was halal was answered. I'm not familiar with Thai food but what we ordered had plenty of flavour and portion size was satisfactory and filling. Family enjoyed it and it was a nice new experience for me. Would take the family again. Starters were fresh and flavoursome. If you like your food spicy, best ask server for advice.

Our preferred restaurant couldn’t accommodate 18 diners without notice. However, this place did. First time any of us had ate here and we weren’t disappointed. Excellent service considering how many of us there were. At some point we were all eating at the same time, so food came out together. If you like Thai food, you’ll enjoy eating at this place. Nice decor, spacious and the food was very good. E didn’t have dessert but the juices were really good. Staff allowed us to relax until the evening diners started arriving.

Fantastic time at the GS! My second time eating here. The first was for my wife's birthday a couple months ago. This time, Father's Day 😁. Busy day so our table was reserved. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. Special shout out to our server Leah; she was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would have given 5 stars but my first 2 main meal choices were not available (lamb shank and the chubby cheek pork 😒) so I opted for the sea bass (which I had the first time I came) which was very nice but not as tasty or as large as the last time I had it (maybe a different chef) All in all a great meal and fantastic staff. Will definitely be returning!! 👍🏾🙌🏾👊🏾
