Chapter Edgbaston

A friend and I held a joint birthday party at Chapter in September - inviting around 40 people for drinks and finger food. Chapter did a wonderful job - as witnessed by how many of our guests commented on the quality of the food, service and ambience after the event. We had a great time and Irene and her team met all our expectations and exceeded them. I definitely recommend Chapter for a party/group event - it was excellent!

There are actually quite limited options in Birmingham for a restaurant to do a mass catering event where guests can mingle. Chapter is the outstanding choice. They hosted my sixty guests after my son's christening brilliantly: a large open space by the bar, looking out onto lovely Greenfield Crescent. The food - canapes and bowl food - was characteristically excellent. One of the best restaurants in the city.

Organised a Sunday lunch for 13 of us, everything we r very well- table was ready, plenty of staff on hand to sort drinks and food orders out - all done super efficiently and excellent service levels. The food was very well presented- all courses and very very good. Also no rush to reclaim the table. Well worth a visit, we will be going back soon. PS our spend was high due to all the cocktails and wine the guests drank!!

We hosted a 30th birthday party at Chapter last weekend and had such a fantastic time! The staff went above and beyond to help us - from the planning phase right through to the end of the evening itself (they even stayed open a little later to accommodate us!) The food is great and the drinks are a fair price, including a happy hour from 10pm-11pm with £5 cocktails. For anyone who wants a classy but comfortable venue for their next event I'd highly recommend Chapter. Thanks guys!

Discovered this lovely place via the cocktail weekend 2023. Lovely place, very friendly staff. The cocktails I tried were so nice. Cockney stairs was my favourite 😍. Great find, definitely a place I will be going back too. Went back a month later and had the lobster and quite a few more of their cocktails. One of my favourite places to go.

What a lovely evening- Crab starter-mad! Turbot main-historic! Chef ( great beard- my apologies I didn’t name check) fabulous discussion of recommendations- thanks ! spot on for each of us-and delicious) Each dish was quite outstanding . Thank you Sir! Dominique ( sp?) so welcoming- proffesional and perfect wine advice- - each wine complimented so well with each dish-thank you so much. Waitress Nikki- attentative, charming and v prompt and v proffesional - so cool! Waiter ‘Tex’ ( apologies mate- no name check- you know ….!) totally proffesional, courteous n knowledgable, immaculate - thanks bro. Thank you all - highly recommended.

My family helped me celebrate my special birthday at Chapter. What a good choice! Great location, we were a party of 16, we had a private area, two tables of eight, We began with welcome drinks on the terrace, followed by a delicious three course meal. Chapter staff so professional, attentive efficient service, the presentation and quality of the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning !!!
