Steak 'n Shake

It was a very long, and cold waitting for ordering the food. Also the lady did not cook any condiments on my sandwich. Nor was there lettuce and tomato. I ordered the #4 and #14. I would have hope for better food service. But will not be going back to this franchise Steak and Shake in the near furture.

This is the absolute worst Steak 'n Shake I've ever been to. While we were waiting on our food our waitress and another waitress were arguing and the other 1 walked out. We waited around 45 minutes for our food, once it came we were missing my daughters burger and most of our food was very cold. They ended up bringing us fresh fries that were hot, but didn't do anything about our burgers. The manager took around $10.00 off of our bill for all of our trouble. We definitely won't be going back here anytime soon, if ever.

Had to say I do like a steak and shake hamburger. The staff here are nice in my experience. I usually come around here at 11 PM. I don't expect my service to be fast. Because I realized at night there are fewer people working. My orders are usually correct. But sometimes the service is lacking sometimes.

This particular Steak 'n Shake is known for lack of staffing. This results in long weight times. The last time I was here the service was okay. My biggest complaint is that the fries we were served had been setting for too long and you could taste the 30 minutes they had been sitting in the warmer before eating them. This establishment does not provide the quality Steak 'n Shake experience that other S 'n Ss might.

Service wasn't the best. Messed up our orders. We were a party of 3. There was only 5 people working. That's not enough. Our waitress acted like she didn't understand what we were saying and just kept apologizing. Still messed up an order we had sent back as well. Steak and Shake is one of my favorite places to go. I'll take the drive to Bloomington if I want it from now on.

I usually like Steak n Shake but this wasn't one of those times. I was brought a cold cup of coffee, then had to wait 15 minutes for a replacement. When eventually my burger came it was only warm and the bacon was overcooked. They were out of lettuce for any salads and had no cookies. The service was slow even though there was only a few tables occupied. Overall a very bad experience, this place needs new management.

Staff are quite friendly and seem to enjoy working here. The bathroom left much to be desired in one stall that needed attention but i let them know. I ordered the Swiss and Portobello mushroom burger and fries and an ultimate banana milkshake... The shake is really good and the burger was amazing as always their fries definitely could use some work they were not fresh and I didn't really get very many. Regardless, three out of four isn't bad overall it was very good.

There is only one good server at this location and she is great but the rest of the staff are just bad. The managers are just rude. They treat you like crap if you have a call-in, talk down to you for using a coupon, and are never patient. If you complain about your food they tend to send you a replacement item that is nothing but an insult. If you want astral N Shake then go to the west location. This location is by far the worse I have ever been to. I don't think the place is ever clean.
