Subway

Went in and they had the sign up that said 3 for 20. So I asked the guy and he said nope. I said you have the sign up. He said it’s after midnight though. It wasn’t after midnight when I went in and when I got to my car I saw it just hit midnight. So he just didn’t want to give me the deal... took forever to get to me as well. But that’s fine since he was washing up. Just annoyed he lied about it

I normally wouldn't make the effort to write a review because this location has always been just fine in the past. However, last night (6/29/2020) was the first time I decide to give them my business since the whole Covid-19 mess had so many places like this shut down. I came in, I was the only customer. And two workers behind the counter, a man & a woman, were busy making sandwiches. Perhaps they were working on a large pick-up order. Fine, I get it. I'll wait. However, they never acknowledged me! I stood there. They silently kept working on sandwiches. I continued to be patient and wait. But they never even looked up. As a customer, please at least say "we'll try to be with you shortly" or "Sorry for the wait, sir". Nothing. They could not have been more rude and unprofessional with their silence if they tried. Total wait time was close to 5 minutes. I finally turned away and walked out. They had plenty of time to try to stop me as I left with a final apology. It will be a long time, if ever, before I return to that location. (By the way, there was another Subway on Lyndale that was more than happy to take my money and serve me.)
