Love the idea but the execution is lacking just a bit. The space is quite small and lackluster, there may be plans for improvements as they just opened. The food was good. The addons make the price way to high, but the basic ramen is reasonably priced. One cool thing is that the ping pong is free during lunch! The price to play otherwise would not be worth it given the cramped space. Cool idea and I'm sure they'll get things straightened out. **Review Update - After several months in business it's about the same. I took 2 friends there that hadn't been. We arrived a little after 11 and had to walk in the back to let them know we were there and the service remained indifferent through out our lunch. The ramen was very good though, just a very small portion and pricey when you add items. Overall, we can't see ourselves coming back for lunch but maybe a happy hour!

My new favorite... where you can get dinner and a show. Boise finally has a spot for Ramen AND Ping Pong! 🍜🏓 Best Ramen I've had in Boise, ID. They're new and still working out some kinks but their staff is extremely friendly and the food was tasty! Great as takeout too..

So, up front, the base ramen is a bit minimal, coming with pickled mushrooms and half an egg and running $8.50. That all aside, the ramen is very customizable, so I added the pork belly and half egg. I also opted for spicy level 4, which personally was reasonably spicy and didn't seem to ruin or mask the favor. It was very good, but my one gripe would be that the eggs don't seem to have a strong flavor by themselves, which I prefer. Environment was nice and lively.

First time I have had this type of ramen and it was DELICIOUS! I will definitely come here again. If you are ever curious about how the ramen in naruto would taste I imagine like this

Not too salty broth. You can order kaedama up front. Did not get a chance to try the potato broth. Miso, soy sauce, and shio tare are available, along with onsen tamago. Bar and tiny restaurant area. It is worth trying out. Braised pork belly is good, but you gotta be into that sort of thing to enjoy it.

I gotta say, this is the best ramen I’ve had in Boise. I love ramen, but since moving to Boise I haven’t been able to find a ramen joint that I’m willing to return to. RamaPong is that joint. The egg was delicious and broth flavorful. We tried the miso and shoyu. Shoyu was definitely more dynamic. They had a cool vibe and the bartender/staff was friendly. We couldn’t stick around and play ping pong since we had a teen with us. Didn’t realize it was 21+ up, but we waited up in Boise Fry Co and they brought our ramen to us up there. I’d love to try their other broths. But I know I like the house shoyu and am nervous to commit to a whole bowl of sweet potato broth. It’d be awesome if they let you try a little sample before deciding. Look forward to returning soon.
