12.16.23 Heard so much about how great the food was so we had to try it. Place was really busy so we sat at the bar which offers full menu. Drinks and food came out fast. The clam chowder was amazing.

I love this place. I had visited around 5 years ago and on my most recent trip was desperate to try and figure out where we went. Phew! Found it! Last night my friend and I had an amazing dinner. I got the lobster which was delicious. Cocktails, desert and the service were all incredible. Among my favorite things however, I just love the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

My wife, son, and I spent 3 days in Boston for the 250th anniversary of the Boston tea party and this was without a doubt the BEST food we had! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Boston area. I will be back the next time we visit.

I recently visited Union Ouster House, and I was pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere that echoed an old story. The food was delicious, bringing a taste of tradition to every bite. The nostalgic ambiance paired with excellent dishes makes it a four-star experience worth savoring.
One thing is about our shrimp entree, it was pretty bland taste of it. Needed a little extra seasonings.

This is an American gem....literally an Oyster Pearl. The amount of history in this place is amazing. My group sat at the raw bar (although) you can get the full menu there. We started with drafts of Union Oyster's Colonial Ale (UOH Exclusive Samuel Adams label). It is their house lager. When in...Of course I had oysters, clams, and seafood! We ate oysters from Cotuit and Barnstable. Cherry stone clams from Barnstable (I would guess though Cleveland's Ledge). Cotuit was sweeter than Barnstable. We tried the house made cocktail sauce. They also do their own horseradish sauce. The shrimp were medium size.... The shuckers were full of information. Ask about Daniel Webster if you go....Back to food; A couple friends tried the baked beans. They said they were very sweet. I tried a slice of their taken on Cream Pie. Does one call it Boston Cream pie? Is it like calling a Buffalo Wing in Buffalo where it is just a wing???? Anyways the Boston Cream Pie was heavy and dense...did I fail to mention...really amazing. They had a neat make your own ornament at the restaurant. Really fun and a true American Landmark!

When there while on a conference and I must say it was an amazing atmosphere. The oysters were really fresh and the staff was incredibly friendly. We got great recommendations from the bar tender about local beers and I must say the clam chowder was very nice. It really warmed us up. The place also has lots of history and if you go to the second floor, there’s rooms with art and antiques. Simply amazing

Loved this place. It opened in 1826 and it is oldest restaurant in continous service since opening. I had mussels which comes with corn bread followed by shrimp and scallops on rice. My husband had oysters and crab cakes. Crab cakes were really good, not salty like some restaurants serve. We shared Boston cream pie which was more like cake but was delicious. Food was amazing. Only vegetarian dish I saw was salad. Atmosphere was cozy, they suggest you walk around the restaurant and look at the interior design. Lots of historic photos. I took a video and will try to share it here. JFK used to eat here. It is wheelchair accessible and parkimg nearby. I'd recommend you make a reservation, we waited short time for a table with a reservation. Walk in people waited 45 minutes. Also, depends on time of day that you arrive.

Lobster Mac & cheese was amazing! It was on their specials menu. Also had the sangria, amazing! Tried an oyster for the very first time here, it was interesting, but I didn’t hate it. There’s a garage nearby for parking, but it was $16 and you can get it validated if you’re there under 3 hours. Everyone in my party liked their food. The place is very heavy on the fish smell, but expected obviously. Really neat rooms with cool wall hangings. Highly recommend a reservation!!

Great foods indeed. Really nice atmosphere, too. Osyter was really good and fresh! And the steak was surprisingly good, too. It was nice looking around the walls, showcasing historic pictures and ornaments. Service of the waiter was good, but front lady was not friendly when she was greeting us. But overall is good place to visit.

When you first walk you instantly notice the beautiful authentic decor which really sets the mood. After being seated we were instantly greeted by the inviting staff. I decided to try their most famous plates. The flavors were amazing. I will definitely be back to try some more ones. My significant other also loved the beer selection! A great experience.
