The upgrades made me giggle; the last time I was there, signs were handwritten, and you could see behind the glass. It hasn't changed too much because there's still mental math and a calculator and an ATM because it's CASH ONLY 🤭🤗

I went here with my friend, she had been here before but it was my 1st time I got a Ham & Cheese with mustard, pickles & tomatoes. My friend got a HUGE steak & cheese sub & a smaller meatball sub. The quality is great, the prices are perfectly reasonable & the subs are awesome!

I have been coming here for over 30 years. Unlike most places I grew up going to. The quality of food still consistent no matter how long of a break I take. The line is long usually but worth the wait!

I’ve been going to ideal shop since I was a teenager and they always The best sandwiches and the people that were there they are amazing pay respect for that I will never stop going there even my cousins school over there all the time every morning you guys are the best God bless🙏🙏🙏❤️

Very old school sandwich shop run by Cape Verdeans. They have CV specialties as well as cold and hot subs.
Ordered a steak and cheese.
Only downsides are: waiting outside since it's so small.
And white American cheese on the subs and no provolone cheese.
