I love this place! The food is so good and the prices are SO inexpensive. The couple who runs it is very sweet. It's a great traditional Mexican restaurant.

Great service. Food is pretty damn good and the prices are INSANELY good. This restaurant has extreme value for everyone, whether you're looking for a side or a comple platter. Inside there is plenty of space. The decor is a bit outdated, but the is also very nostalgic to a family style mexican restaurant that most grew up eating from.

I love this place.
Food is not fancy, but great with a very reasonable price.
Environment is cozy like a home, quiet and relaxing, no loud music in the background. You don't need to shout or yell to be heard. I just like to go there with my family after a long work day and chat comfortably.
The lady waitress is so nice and friendly.

The quesadillas and margaritas were top notch! I don’t know why this place doesn’t get packed on a Saturday night, but I’ll take the zero wait time! I’ll definitely be going back. It’s a local gem.

The best option for Mexican food in JP. Great sangria and margaritas, fresh and addictive chips and salsa, and a wide range of dishes to choose from. You have your typical "Tex-Mex" burrito/tacos/enchiladas options of course, but there's plenty of more authentic choices, like a terrific mole poblano. The chicken breast is tender and juicy all the way through, and the mole sauce is just the right balance of spicy, smoky, and savory. The owner and staff are nice as well. This is the kind of neighborhood restaurant that deserves our support!
