Fenway Cafe

Fenway Cafe is my all time favorite coffee shop, and it's because of George! I was a regular for several years while working in the area. When I was moving out of state, George gave me a cup of his coffee beans as a parting gift. I always look forward to stopping by when I'm back in town. He's the best!

I would always stop here before/after work for a quick, cheap, delicious iced coffee, and would stay to converse with George. He remembers my order, little details I tell him about my day, and is truly an incredible, caring, empathetic man. Once I moved elsewhere in Boston, I would always make an effort to pick up a coffee from him whenever I go to Fenway because I enjoyed his company that much! This shop is around a 5 minute walk from the Kenmore green line station and 1 minute walk from the Landsdowne commuter rail stop. He always greets me with a smile, cares about what I have to say, and has even taught me a few Greek words! This shop will always have a special place in my heart. :)

I really enjoy this place. Every time I've been there, the same person is behind the counter and he remembers me and is very pleasant to chat with. I've tried a few different drinks and pastries and have been happy every time. It's definitely less expensive than the nearby Starbucks, and unlike Starbucks, there's rarely a line.
