Franzones Pizzaria & Restaurant

I've only been here one time I got a cheeseburger and fries. I dined in not bad for a pizza joint. They had a television there so you can watch the game. Pizza seems very popular. The waitress was very friendly and punctual. I got a super Burger deluxe. Which was a double cheeseburger with lettuce tomatoes and fries. I couldn't believe the amount of food that I got for the price. I have no complaints.

The main reason for my 5 star is the value for food and service. I only had some pizza slices which outside of the slightly sweet tomato sauce were great 😃👍. Nice crust with a little bit of crisp. The waiter was pleasant as well. Happy I came just before it started to get crowded. In terms of price there are many things on the menu including being able to get a slice of pizza(plain) and a soda for around or just under $5.

You walk in the door to the classic 90's pizza place, the smell of yeast from the dough cascades your nose in a flow of sensations, the fryers bubbling with crispy golden fries to be ready for the eating any second, the friendly and quick working staff, and the clean floors and tables make this place the absolute best pizza in the world. The cheese is the absolute perfect amount, the sweet sauce adds just the right amount of jump to the flavor, and that thin crust cooked to perfect crunchy yet still soft top. You honestly cant go wrong with franzones anyday, everyday, all day. And try it cold right outta the fridge, itll change ur world! (Old Bridgeport secret)

So, the big sign isn't up outside any more...but it makes it seem like a secret place - that or we went in the back door. Anyways, this place is really good and really unique! The sweet sauce on the pizza is definitely different, but good. We ordered two pepperoni pizzas to share between two adults and 6 kids - it was more than enough. We also ordered a cheesesteak and fries with gravy (added mozzarella to make poutine) which were also both excellent. What pushed thia place over the top for me was it's drink selection (its like a big mini bar in the chillers up front!) and the fact that when our youngest spilled an entire soda on the table and we started cleaning it up, the waitress was calm, helped us out, and reassured her that it was okay. And she was their only waitress that day AND slam-packed busy!

First time trying Franzones and it was great. We are regulars of Little Sicily in Bridgeport but a friend recommended Franzones. We picked up a couple pizza while we were out that way. The pizzas were really good. Plenty of cheese which was delicious. Their mushrooms tasted fresh snd they were under the cheese. Overall it was a really good pizza. We will 100% be back.
