I've been going to Timothy's for years! Always fantastic ice cream, they've been doing smush ins for like, 40+ years, but you don't need it as all the flavors are great, along with the in-house waffle cones. Worth a trip if you're in the area!

Located on a not-so-exciting stretch of Fairfield Avenue, Timothy’s still gets significant traffic of the walk-up variety from ice cream seekers and families strolling down the block. The shop features sweet cream ice cream with mix-ins, Cold Stone style, and fresh waffle cones and bowls. Among the popular flavors are locally referenced Black Rock (French vanilla with chocolate-covered almonds) and any flavor with Oreos.

This place is a must visit. The best ice cream I’ve ever had! I tried coffee oreo and I loooved it! I would definitely come back to have this ice cream. Nxt time I will have a double scoop for sure.

Homemade out of this world delicious ice cream! After eating it here there is no other place to go for a frozen treat! I’m spoiled for life! Glad it’s in Blackrock.

Very pleasant old fashioned ice cream shop. They have a real antique ice cream machine in the front window, plenty of welcoming kitschy ice cream themed decor, and the young men running the counter were friendly. The ice cream itself was quite good, but the homemade waffle cones and bowls were the best, with great crispy texture and plenty of flavor.

I haven't been to Timothy's Ice Cream in over 20 years because I moved out of the area but it felt like I was there just yesterday. The owner is great and the ice cream with the mix-ins was as delicious as I remember. Also can't forget the homemade whipped cream. I took a friend there that has never been and loved the ice cream also.
