Coffee Depot

Whilst staying in Brisbane CBD we found this cafe so gave them a try for morning coffee. Service was good, staff were friendly and service was quick. Could see that many of the locals were stopping in for their daily coffee fix which is always a good sign. Coffee prices are comparable with Melbourne 2 x double shot espresso’s for $7.60 Checked out their breakfast menu and has a great selection on offer so will stop in during our stay for breakfast/ brunch.

Meals were nice and reasonably priced, presented abundantly and beautifully. Service was good, setting welcoming and options to sit indoors and out. *Constructive feedback* Only down side lots of slogans priding themselves on their smashed avo- I personally disliked mine, tastes like flour/packet avocado, would consider adding it to the side rather than on the meal next time.

The best place for breakfast in Brisbane! Eggs Benny was to die for. Kids loved being able to order bits and pieces to build their own breakfast. Coffee was great. Service was impeccable, very friendly and relaxed. A great little spot with a very good price tag. A family of five who ordered what they wanted, plus extra take away coffees all for $50! So yum - thank you.

First of all, I have to say that the coffee was great, and the avocado and feta on toast was lovely. Now the bad news. Maybe it was a bad day, but the management of our order was not good. Firstly, our coffee order was wrong, an only 1 of 2 coffees arrived. After a period of 5 min or so after the first coffee, I had to go back in and show them my receipt to get our 2nd coffee. Then the food order was so slow, we had both finished our coffees and the avo toast was still not delivered. A steady stream of takeaway customers who had arrived after us came and left with their coffee and food orders while we sat and waited. Eventually when it arrived, we had to take it away as we needed to get to work. Service is an integral part of the food experience, and unfortunately on the day, it wasn't good. Hopefully this isn't a regular occurrence, but based on our experience on the day, it's 2 stars. If our order had been served in sequence to when we made it compared to other later arriving customers, it would have been a 4 to 5 star rating.
