Hogan's Wellington Point

We didn’t go to the pub out front we went around the back to the little cocktail bar which is a real find. Looks great with a big fireplace at the back, comfy lounge area. Drinks are standard price but very nice. I tried the old fashioned with earl grey which was amazing. We will definitely be back. This place needs its own google entry.

Being the first time a few of us had been there ,we weren’t sure what to expect, but I can honestly say we had nothing worry about. I had the spare ribs and they were cooked to perfection. And everyone else commented on how enjoyable their meal was, we will definitely be going back there again. Hats off to the chefs.

We were very fortunate to have booked our son's 21st in the upstairs function room at Hogan's Hotel. Last night we had about 65 family and friends attend. The night was absolutely fantastic. What a wonderful experience. Alison the function's manager was extremely professional and in touch with us all the way through making the preparation and organisation seamless. The event last night was really enjoyable. Everyone commented on the generous portions, quality and taste of the food. We had seafood platters, antipasto platters, sushi and pizza. The food was so delicious, like eating at a high quality restaurant. The bar staff were friendly and we had enough so there were no delays in service. The room is beautiful with plenty of options for standing tables and sitting and a dance floor. We loved the entire experience. We plan to go and eat at Hogan's again very soon. I would highly recommend Hogan's for any function or just a meal. Outstanding experience.

Dreadful. Had the Seafood Tower for 2. It was my friends birthday. With the 15% surcharge for Easter Monday it came to $97. Complete disbelief when we saw that we had one fresh prawn each. The hot food was disgusting mush in breadcrumbs. I got a refund, however Why is this rubbish served in the first place??? Who puts 2 fresh prawns on a seafood tower for 2, the smallest piece of smoked salmon?? Crumbed prawns ( apparently) which were indescribable really, they just tasted like soap, frozen rubbish. A couple of the next table heard me complain and agreed they had fish tacos and said you must have the same fish we have, we were all saying it’s supposed to be a new kitchen?? Really need a new standard because it is well below. Never eating there again disgusting. Maybe Chef needs to sample before they have the audacity to present to the paying customer.

I recently had my daughter's 21st and a week later my son's 18th at Hogan's. Alison the functions manager went above and beyond to make these events perfect. The food was amazing, the cocktails were delicious and the staff did such an awesome job of ensuring all our guests were happy. Thanks again Hogan's x
