The Coop Espresso Bar

I've taken in recent years to coffee on almond milk. Quality across Brisbane is really mixed and I mostly expect to be disappointed. Not at The Coop Espresso Bar though. Perhaps because of the high competition in Brisbane CBD, this place constantly pumps out the perfect flat whites for me. Staff are always friendly too which is a bonus!

Ordered a mocha on almond milk and was not disappointed. The service was fabulous and the coffee worth both the walk and the extra $0.80. Yes, this hole-in-the-wall takeaway coffee place is not the cheapest. But if you wanted the cheapest you’d go to 7 Eleven. No, this place is where you go when you need your fix and you need it perfect. Having a bad day? Coop Espresso is your fam. Thank you for the good conversation as well!

Updated: Some members of the staff have left, and the service has seemed to drop as a result. Great customer service, and good coffee. The wait is a little long, but they make up for it by offering good service. One of the best coffee places in Brisbane. Adds a bit of the Melbourne vibe to this city.

This is my favourite coffee place in all of Brisbane. I go there most mornings with my work bff and we have a great old time. Sometimes we go in the afternoon and honestly I regret that most days because coffee plays havoc on a person’s insides. Anyway, the staff are all pretty great, but I do have my favorites and they rotate in my non-favorites a bit too much for my liking. The core group of six(ish) (let’s define this as the group who were there in Feb 2018) make the best coffee and are the best. I have also recently taken a shine to a coffee man who has many splendid tattoos, but they are all personable and make great coffee. He is an honorable core group member - well done, friend! Their cold press coffee is ok, and I have no idea why they sell avocado on toast because like we have mortgages, guys. Or wish we did

The guys and gals at Coop Espresso know their way around a coffee machine! They've got their workflow setup just right, taking names and brewing coffee; and they brew it jussssttt right, EVERY time. If you're feeling hungry, grab their smashed avo on toast; it's the little things that matter, and the dukkah and lemon simply take this Aussie millennial treat to the next level. If you get your coffee anywhere else, you're dead to me.

I'm a coffee lover and I always try the cafe nearby. Today I order a flat white in this cafe by using google map. Unfortunately, I don't think it worths more than 4 as the flat white contains too much milk. I'm wondering whether the barista is qualified or not, he just warm the milk and pour into cup without considering the quality of the flat white. Overall, I don't think I'll give another try later on.
