Guzman Y Gomez - Windsor

We have given this store plenty of opportunities to get their act together but they consistently fail. Slow and badly collated and cooked food. Today offer as you can see was a regular fries for the price of a large and a slow cooked "rice" burrito for the price of a beef burrito. Even the rice was hard and crunchy and it's pretty hard to get rice wrong. Much better outlets than this one so go elsewhere I say if you don't want to be disappointed.

Very rude and appalling customer service! I love Guzman Y Gomez but this store has been really disappointing. I ordered a Spicy Pulled Pork Burrito, the staff served me with a burrito which was labeled as Spicy but it did not have ANY SPICE at all. I politely went up to the counter and told the manager that my burrito was not spicy at all. He apologised and said he would get another one made for me. He then served me the second burrito and told me it was mild. I told him that I ordered spicy, had to find my original order docket from the bin and show him. They then offered me a small spicy dipping sauce for my burrito in a manner to shun me away as if I was a pest. The small dipping sauce wasn’t enough, so when I was half way through my burrito I went to the counter to ask for another one and the lady who served me said “What do you want now?!” At this point I felt like less than a cockroach. In the end: I got the 2 dipping sauces, somewhat of a spicy burrito, horrible customer service and a hurt pride. For proof of this experience I asked for them to print out my order in a receipt. When I asked the same rude woman at the counter she demanded that I tell her what my order number was (which I didn’t know because they didn’t give me an order number (only a table number). When she had to spend some time to find my order number she rolled her eyes and handed the receipt to me in a very rough manner. Total, parasitic customer experience.

Food was average compared to the many other GyG’s we’ve been to. The burrito bowl we ordered barely had anything in it. Also customer service by the front cashier was appalling. No greeting, gave us looks as if she wanted to intimidate us?? And by reading the other reviews it seems like it is a normal thing for that person :) yikes

Let's start with having an authentic pandillero serve my order. Such intimidation and grouchiness. Would have really needed a smile today from that nice lady at the back instead if she took my order. I should have just gone to the drive thru one in Bowen Hills. Moving on. The food has the same standard as the other GyGs I've been to which is great since it's actual comfort food for me. Realised as I've grown older that I tend to go for the minis now as I could not finish the regular sizes (burrito bowls, enchiladas, etc). One gripe is that due to Covid, the condiments station has been closed. There's no complimentary jalapenos, coriander and hot sauces. When I was given my order, I wasn't even asked about it, nor if wanted some. I understand that there's changes but businesses need to adapt their service delivery. Place is clean but I haven't seen staff wiping tables or chairs after customers have finished. I should have known to sign in due to Covid but it just passed my head. There was a sign and a QR code on the counter. Would have been nice to have it as you enter on a poster facing incoming customers. Could have been placed on top of the hand sanitizer stations. Would not stop me from going back again. But maybe at a different place. Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐ Ambiance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Parking ⭐⭐⭐⭐

DO NOT GO HERE. The Worst GYG I’ve been to. Went 3 times past couple of weeks and every time the staff just stood there and ignored me when I approached the counter. 2 of those times they stood there talking while my food sat there going cold. They are so slack and rude. The 3rd time there was a bunch of staff behind and In front of the counter with there backs to customers just standing there talking SO loudly and ALL of those times they waited like 15 minutes before I had to flag them down to be like ahh hello I placed and order? DO NOT GO HERE! Better to go elsewhere. My food was cold by the time they BOTHERED to give it to me and basically just gave me attitude EVERY time.

Very nice food. Servings of nachos & salad are reasonable. The $2 tacos etc are, naturally, small. Access to the site appears to be ok from car park- one level. I didn't see ramp, but I'm almost certain there is one from car park to that whole area, even if it's not immediately in front of G& G. We ordered online& took it away. Bit tricky as there seemed to be some issues trying to pay with PayPal. Had to use ccard instead. Could simply have been server or net issues. Food was ready when i got there, but i couldn't see our number, so waited a while. Eventuallyy went up& asked, & was given our order.

3/3- all bad 1st time going to this guzman, one of my chips servings were left out, I also ordered through the app only to end up waiting the same time if not longer than if I’d ordered on the spot despite being on time. 2nd time, not a single spice on the chips, other food was lacking in flavour too. 3rd time, enchilada was mushy and unenjoyable and there was a HAIR in it!! There was also another hair in my partners chips... Safe to say I’ll be driving that bit extra to the Stafford store

Alright as a franchise 5/5. This GYG in particular needs some better quality control. I live in between 3 GYGs. I have easily spent over $2000 dollars at GYG and the Windsor location has a distinctly different taste to other Guzmans also I have received burrito's that were just not what I ordered. This isn't just me that says this, I've had discussions with friends and we agree it had a vegetabley/capsicum like taste, similar to their sautéed vegetable filling (even when you haven't ordered it).
