Ivy & Lark

I absolutely adore coming to Ivy & Lark, it's become my favourite place for a nice meal and a catch up! My go to order is always the 'Ivy & Lark Benny' and a chai latte, both are always fantasticly made and beautifully served. The decor is beautiful and relaxing, and all of the staff are friendly and professional!

I have had a few people mention this cafe but always 'it looks lovely I'd love to try it'...don't rush. I don't like saying that while the restaurant industry is working their way out of the pandemic but hey! Put some effort in!!! Disappointed is a nice way of saying it! I sat as my friend stood to order. Two very pushy women pushed ahead and were served (apparently regulars), it took her almost 20 minutes to order one coffee and 2 croissant! I went to take a table and I went to 4 before I found one that was semi clean. It was 9am. We received the croissants and mine I couldn't chew. The end bit , you could punch nails in with with! I went to the counter and asked if I could have one from today....I was told it would need to be microwaved! No thanks money back The staff were exasperated. Nice. But they were done. When we left my friend said her croissant was vile and her coffee average but she was hungry! If there was ever a time for a business to step up ..it's now.

Young man at the cashier desk (ear extenders) was really pleasant and knowledgeable- but everyone else? Looked absolutely miserable! Not a smile to be seen in the whole cafe. Cakes and cuppa was nice - cup a bit dirty and stained- but all tasted great. Assortment of food was well presented- but the staff need to cheer up!

They got a nice place, but the lady on the reception was too angry and did not even listen to me. First time when I came here, they did the same, and this time I decided to give them another chance. She did not listen as she was angry again (not sure if she was the same person), by the way, we ordered two cups of flat whites and they got us 1!!!! After double checking, they said that they have put order for 1! It is so funny as the only cafe who do not understand what I order are these guys. I will not come back gain.

Went there and nice barista/cashier was so funny and cool, waitress with glasses and brown hair was so sweet and kind, hope she’s having a good day. 10/10, best frappe of my life, and the cake, when I tell it you it melted on my tongue, absolutely scrumptious. Extra points because they complimented me. Excellent service, will 100% return.
