We ordered through Doordash 8 of the sweet items. Apple turnover with fresh cream, chocolate eclair, 2 cupcakes, neenish tart, hedgehog slice, match stick, lamington with fresh cream. Everything looks really nice and tasty! I have to say I was disappointed though that everything is NOT FRESH unfortunately. All the pastry is stale and rock hard in some places and rubbery in the thicker parts. The mock cream is hard as which means it's old too .. maybe these pastries were made weeks ago or if not then they are stored incorrectly in such a way that it's made the products stale. The cupcakes were the worst things of all. They were tasteless pure sugar rock solid hard and turned to dust when you bit them like they were a hard cookie... How you can get away with selling these things to our kids is beyond me?! I didn't try the lamington I gave it away as they cut open an old glad wrapped lamington and without removing the glad wrap filled it with cream... That's really weird. The neenish tart is absolutely horrible! The shortcrust pastry is sooooo incredibly old you can't even bite through it at all, disgraceful, you charge a lot of money and I can't eat the products I paid for. The match stick was really hard... Traditionally a matchstick is flaky puff pastry, 2 pieces sandwiched together with fresh cream and strawberry jam. This was rock hard stale pastry sandwiched together with hard mereigne like mock cream and nothing else no no jam or sprinkles or anything. I haven't tried the hedgehog slice yet I'm going to soon with a cup of coffee later... I'm hoping it's nice but I'm sure its going to be stale and too hard to eat as well. It's such a shame because everything looks nice it just tastes awful as it's stale. I wonder if you realise that keeping stock for too long on your shelves is not going to save you money by reducing product waste. It's going to destroy your business and drive customers away. Unfortunately I will not recommend your bakery and I will not come back unless I hear of change. From reading all your most recent reviews, sadly it looks like a lot of your customers are saying things are stale and rock hard. Not good, really, not good.

Been here several times over the years. Visited this morning as my usual go-to bakeries were closed for holidays or COVID understaffing. Got a curry pie and sausage roll and bread. Bread was fine, but the curry pie while having a generous amount of filling was extremely salty (to the point of not being able to finish it). The sausage roll was dry and something just tasted off (also couldn't finish). I anticipated digestive trauma, which occurred about 30 mins post-consumption. Sorry, guys, won't be back in a hurry.
