Melidrop

I went there right before closing time, so I completely forgot to pay. I'm still so sorry about that.. I was gonna call them but I couldn't find any contact number so I went again next day. Kindly, one of the staff remembered me and said " Thank u for comming and u r an angel!" At that time I was so touched. The staff is so friendly, the cafe is peaceful and cozy. Coffee is really good.

The Melidrop cafe was honestly an amazing experience all together. Amazing Greek food, really friendly staff and great service. The location is absolutely stunning. The massive Fig tree out the front provides a beautiful shaded area to relax with some good food and a coffee. The food looks amazing as well as tasting amazing! Phenomenal food presentation! A great place to go for brunch! I’d recommend the meatballs! The coffee is also really great. I’d recommend the dirty chai! Definitely going back as soon as I can :) 5/5

WAITED 1 HOUR 45 MINUTES AND NEVER RECEIVED OUR FOOD!!! We waited 45 minutes for someone to clear the table from previous diners and give us a menu (after asking staff 3 times). 2 tables which came after us were served first and the staff didn’t bother to come to take our order instead standing around chatting. Staff finally took our drinks order and gave us menus to decide what food we wanted to get. It took 30 minutes for coffee and to take out food order. We waited a further 30 minutes for food which NEVER CAME. My husband and I were extremely disappointed and we’re not fussy. The cafe wasn’t even busy they were just really slack and couldn’t keep up. We decided we couldn’t wait any longer having sat there and waited for 1 hour 45 minutes. When my husband went to pay for the coffee he mentioned to the owner that we had been wanting for over an hour for food. Instead of apologising the owner checked the order and said it had only been 33 minutes since we ordered. YES, IT HAD BEEN 33 MINUTED SINCE THE STAFF TOOK OUR FOOD ORDER - BUT WE HAD WAITED 1 HOUR 45 MINUTES. He was very defensive about it. Not going back - waste of time and coffee was average.
