Pizza Capers

Came in and was greeted immediately by a staff member doing a dash to the front counter to serve me. The wait time was a reasonable 18 minutes I don't expect gourmet pizza to come out in a dash and I was not disappointed. Ordered a Vegetarian with extra prawns and aioli, the result was amazing. The pizzas are topped really well had me full after the third slice and the quality is absolutely excellent. As a return customer the only reason as to why I don't rate this as 5 stars is due to the occasional outage of ingredients or the slight misquote on delivery time. However with my experience in the hospitality industry running a shop with 2-3 staff members while maintaining the speed and consistency showed by this store is not easy.

Usually I enjoy Pizza Capers, but this particular store seriously lacks customer service, planning and consideration. Came in to the store to order BBQ chicken pizza, which I'm told is a premium pizza, "but the avocado has run out" ... No problem so i substitute with mushrooms, but I'm treated like I'm being a pain for asking (it's not my fault you haven't kept your ingredients available)... But it doesn't end there... I'm told my pics will be ready in 20 minutes, so i go off do some shopping and return to be told that "THERE IS NO CHICKEN, WOULD YOU LIKE TO SUBSTITUTE WITH BEEF!" No apologies for wasting my time or that my hungry soon now has to wait another 20 minutes for them to cook something I didn't want. I had to ask for a refund (which wasn't offered) and purchased around the corner at Dominoes even though the pizzas are not as nice, but at least they train their staff and keep the ingredients available.

So embarrassing for staff having to advise customers that they have run out of pork to make a pork pizza...okay so then went for a second option "lamb"..nope, dont have that available either!!!! Not having sufficient ingredients to make a Pizza aint a good look for the Pizza Capers Forest Lake Store and the Pizza Capers brand!!! And going by other reviews im not the 1st to complain!!!
