Go Sushi

Nice comfortable restaurant. Friendly staff. Good sushi and very fresh. Once you order through the app, it takes a short while before the food was delivered to our table. The price was reasonable and the portion was quite substantial. A lot of people dined in during our trip there. Ample carpark outside.

Sushi Edo is in a ery great location in New Market. It was easy to park. Even we got the number for the queue, it was very fast. The ipad order on the table made easy for us to order. I really love the beef miso sauce one. It was juicy tender beef with very tasty sauce. Other dishes of sushi also fantastic. We will definitely come back. Kate (เกตุ)

Don't bother. This is the worst sushi place I have ever been too. I ordered several wagyu beef Aburi and wagyu beef al a carte meals. The wagyu beef aburi was disgusting, There is no way it was wagyu, it was some ultra cheap cut of beef and it also looked as if it was boiled, it wasn't grilled in any way. The wagyu beef meal again wasn't wagyu, but was of better quality than the aburi, Overall the wagyu meal was about a 2 out of 10, and the aburi was a zero and that is being nice. For this experience that myself and my friend had, I was charged $62. I will not be returning. See attached photo of menu item for aburi and the boiled item I was delivered.

Not what it once was! I would have thought it rare that one dines in a Japanese restaurant and there is not one tuna dish on the menu. It is unfortunate to say that what was once a fantastic place to eat now seems to be cutting corners. Obviously, given the difficulties with supply chains and the increasing costs of fresh ingredients, some economising could be expected. Yet that trend at this place now makes it difficult to enjoy as a destination.

We had a movie starting at 7:30 and arrived at 6:00pm thinking 90 minutes would be plenty of time to eat some delicious sushi, given there's normally a 20 to 30 minute wait. Unfortunately we spent the next 58 minutes waiting. There should have been some indication that it was a longer wait than normal (the amount of people "before" us were roughly equivalent to normal days), so we could've enjoyed a nice sit down dinner at one of the other places. Instead, we waited for 20 minutes for the number 64 to turn into 65, thinking it'd be our turn soon, since multiple people were leaving and tables were clean and empty. Us staring at those tables, seeing time tick away and getting more hangry by the minute were the most frustrating 20 minutes in a long time. While the food was still good, it was definitely not worth the hour long frustrating wait. We will not be coming back on Friday evenings (or Saturdays for that matter).
