Pizzantica

This place is a treasure. Hidden downstairs as part of the language school. An authentic casual trattoria from 1970s Roma with emphasis on tastes and less fuss. Very busy for a cold and blowy Tuesday night, but still a spot for walk ins, staff fluent, very friendly but not showy. Tasty mushroom pizza, half carafe dry red ($20 I think) and the chap at the bar makes a small cracking Negroni. Thank you.

Have visited this restaurant for many years being a local resident. The service lately has been slipping to a point I will no longer support this business. Extremely unprofessional and really don't give a stuff attitude is what you get now. Phone/Internet orders get forgotten and when enquired about you are told they must of missed it, then another 15-25 mins waiting for your food to arrive. Tonight as part of the order was a pizza, half way through eating it I discovered that it tasted off and spat it out into the bin. When I called to make a complaint Nick answered - he really didn't give a stuff and told me that he was sorry and that hopefully I don't get sick and that it doesn't happen again. Said is that all you are doing for me and he responded with yes. Absolutely pathetic attitude and I am done supporting this shonky run down establishment.

A beautiful atmospheric restaurant serving up authentic Italian. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. We ordered one of the daily specials which was a margarita pizza with ricotta and spinach stuffed crust and marinara dipping sauce. The truffle, cream and mushroom linguini was very decadent and full of flavour.
