Snow Witch

Well this one is tough to write, its in good location, had good reviews and was busy when we arrived. Order latte 1 sugar and oreo milkshake. Got a chocolate milkshake not oreo and one of the worst coffee ive ever tried. Even adding another 2 sugars couldnt rid the taste of burnt milk 🤢 snow witch brekkie ($17) & hollandaise burger plus small chips($5) emphasis on sml. The brekkie menu said avocado, tomato, salsa, poached eggs, sausages, bacon on sourdough. It came with Chipotle pork sausages, overcooked bacon, overcooked eggs and 2 tiny slices sourdough. Aside from bit oily the hollandaise burger was pretty good and staff were lovely ordering. Unfortunately not much else positive to say.

Went here today Very sad experience ordered the Big Breakfast with poached eggs with runny yolk...TWICE they brought out scrambled EGGS WITH A LUKE WARM COFFEE THE THIRD TIME THE EGGS WERE LIKE GOLF BALL BROKE THEM OPEN AND HARD AS WENT TO GET A REFUND AND SHE REFUSED SAYING I WAS EATING THEM I TOLD HER NO HAVE NOT EATEN THEM JUST BROKE THEM OPEN TO SHOW YOU THAT THEY ARE NOT RUNNY, WILL BE TALKING TO THE COMPLEX MANAGEMENT...NEVER GOING BACK 😢 😞 💔 😔PS ASKED FOR MUSHROOMS I RECIEVED 2 cut into 4 pieces.

I really wanted to rate this cafe a little higher, as I pass it frequently when I’m in the shopping done. However, even though they had enough staff, the general cleanliness of the seated area is lacking. Floors in the seating area are very slippery/sticky and the armchair type of seats are quite disgusting it has food items stuck in its grooves etc which makes it quite unappealing to sit in. Tables are little wobbly, and it would be great if they could fix it up and put something underneath to stop the wobbling. All in all I would give them another go in the future - if the cleanliness was improved. I think they’re in a good location, staff seem friendly enough, the food looks good, but the general cleanliness needs attention.

Ok, I use to just get my caramel frappes from here because 1. They were conveniently located right next to the little play area and 2. They are the best caramel frappes that use real coffee! They have always had amazing service and get along really well with the locals and regular Sunnybank Hills customers. They are always saying hi to everyone. But today I actually sat down and had a meal and OMG I WAS BLOWN AWAY! The food was amazing, the price was great, and i didn’t wait long. So much better than coffee club! Will definitely be coming here more for brunch with my friends and family. I now know why it’s so busy on weekends!
