The Simple Life Cafe

Just went in for a breakfast, was a very good breakfast with a few add ons. Staff was very friendly and very cheerful. I don't coffee alot myself but the staff promoted they got a new coffee machine so I gave in and brought a coffee along with my breakfast meal. Had to say the coffee sensational. As I work in the Brisbane CBD i will definitely be back for more but will try there mocha which the staff promoted to me when I was thinking about the coffee. Their chocolate type range drinks are use with proper chocolate which I find it heaven in my arms.

Looking for a place to get a cup of coffee while visiting Brisbane, came to this cute cafe at 7am, they were already opened, so decided to give a try. i ordered a smashed avo with a small latte, it was perfect, fresh avocado + and the coffee was really good, & the ladies working were very friendly and took good care of me. would definitely go back again in the future.

Beautiful place, terrible food. I ordered the veg mini breakfast and it was just like the name - simple. Flavourless, entirely. The cheapest coles tomato sauce was the only flavour on the plate - it seems the cheapest ingredients overall were used, and I could taste it. We were not asked how we want our one egg cooked - they fried it and that was the best thing on the plate. Our food came after 25 minutes, and our coffee came another 5 minutes after that. Not worth it for the price... Perhaps the items from the window would be nicer, but I am yet to try those.

Ordered the big breakfast and a “smoothie”. The smoothie was more like a frappe with full ice cubes and chunks of fruit that were unblended. The menu said 2 chipolatas, I got 1. The baked beans were literally ice cold like they’d just taken them out of the fridge and some of the mushrooms weren’t even cooked. The tables rocked and the plates didn’t even sit flat. Would not recommend

I work downstairs from the TSL so I decided to get a quick coffee. What a mistake. Took 15 minutes to get a coffe. Keep in mind there was only one more customer at the time. When I finally received my coffee, surprise surprise it was just milk. One of my colleagues went there before and adviced me not to go. I should have listened

Unfortunately understaffed, ordered ahead by 15minutes and had not begun my order when I arrived to pick it up. Waited another 15minutes for a toasted sandwich. Had to remind staff to take it out of the sandwich press. Said was served with salad, no salad. Watched every other customer unsatisfied and waiting for their orders and some walk away after waiting 15mins + for a coffee that never came.
