Mocha Bella

Came in here asking to borrow their microwave or a hot cup of water to warm up my daughters bottle. Was asked if I was eating in or out and said that I could and was told “that would be the respectful thing to do.” I asked what the cheapest thing was and the chef or manager just said “that’s really not my problem, sort it out amongst yourself.” I don’t know if this is how you treat people on a day to day basis or if you were having a horrible day, but a cup of hot water to warm up my hungry toddler’s bottle really wouldn’t have been so difficult. Please do better

Oh my goodness I could not believe the absolute audacity of the woman who served me. Gobsmacked. Bewildered. Astonished. You'd be better buying a coffee from 7-11 or Macca's. At least you'd get your mediocre coffee with a smile. I see lots of people here having similar experiences. You wonder how they make money with no returning customers.

Not the best experience. Ordered a coffee and a danish, while I was waiting for my order I over heard the barista ask if the pastry was supposed to be heated, I assumed the answer was no because I’ve never had a danish warmed before, however I did mention to the girl that I’d like it as is. When I received my order, the coffee was ok and the danish had clearly been warmed, to the extent it severely burnt my tongue and I could not finish either. Not worth the visit again

Had a nice breakfast here today. 3 of us. Different versions of eggs and some nice coffees. Thought the prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly enough. The service was good and the wait times small. I did read some negative reviews but that was not our experience. Inside was quite a wide variety of food. The tables were plentiful and the decore inviting. No complaints here!

The atmosphere upon entering this cafe is inviting, with it's cozy setting, use of flora and more rustic furnishings. The customer service was exemplary with all staff efficiently meeting my order with a positive demeanor. The selection of food and beverages were wide ranged and seemed to meet most dietary requirements. Finally the coffee from this cafe was one of the best i've had in the brisbane area and at a reasonable price. Will look forward to enjoying the experience at Mocha Bella again and encourage those who haven't, to try it the next time you are in the local area.

A friend and I stood and waited for several minutes to order while the 2 staff happily chatted. We were then greeted underwhelmingly, as if we wer interupting them with wanting to buy from them. My small coffe was $6.50 and well below average. Just to be clear - my upgraded xlarge coffee on James St costs me $5.50 every day at high end coffee shops. I love supporting boutique cafes but honestly I rather have gone to Coffee Club... (Not generally an upgrade as suggested in the reply) Just felt the need to edit this review and explain a little more after the reply of the owner, who clearly takes constructive criticism SO well.
