Pizza Capers - The Gap

Honestly save yourself the hassle and do not buy from here. We normally buy dominoes but thought we would try support the local Pizza Capers for a change and what a mistake. We called to follow up on the order and we were told that the pizza had left the shop… it still hadn’t arrived 25 mins later after the call and we live quite literally 20 seconds up the road. We called again as we thought maybe it had been delivered to the wrong address and were told that the driver had another delivery and needed to get petrol :S The pizza arrived cold, and one pizza arrived without the sauce which we paid extra for… We then called the shop and the kid answering the phone had no idea how to talk to customers so had to take our number and have the manager call us who was the worst manager with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. He was condescending and accusing us of lying about the pizzas being cold and told us we were basically lying about the delivery time even though we offered him the camera footage to prove we weren’t lying about when they were delivered. My husband said that he felt that he should be addressing this time delay discrepancy with his staff directly instead of projecting his accusations onto us who are paying customers. Told us there’s no way they could be cold but they were and we ended up hanging up because we were going around in circles being treated like trash. The manager acted like a bully and doesn’t understand the value of business ethics. We will never support this business or brand ever again but I doubt this store will last long under his management.

I've had the best tuscan chicken pesto pizza from here recently. Absolutely loaded with ingredients, and definitely worth paying the extra over places like Dominoes. The texan mac and cheese is also amazing if you like a little bit of spice. *Ordered from here NYE 2021 and once again, super impressed. Everything was extremely fresh when it arrived. Toppings were loaded, and I got some jalapeno cheese roll things that were fantastic. Still cannot fault this place. $50 for two pizzas, two breads and the rolls is definitely worth it for the quality.

Took over 35 minutes, not 15. Very disappointed with the quality of this Capers vs. other stores elsewhere. The customer service was ok - but we barely interacted - and they struggled to manage a smile. Though I don’t hold that against you since everyone can have a bad day. What was not ok was the extremely poor quality of the thing I actually paid for- the food. They put gluten ingredients on a gluten free pizza.. thanks for that :( I’m guessing you don’t have intolerances? Forgetting to remove and add ingredients as per the order makes me wonder if they even looked at it properly. The Calzone was a muddle of cheese in one spot and the rest was a mouthful of undercooked dough. The pizza was as bland as I’ve ever had with over-cooked chicken and the most token helping of avocado. Honestly, I’d get a better pizza for $5 at dominos. I don’t like leaving such bad reviews but for how much this cost, others must be warned.

Run by a group of 14 year olds. They forgot to add cheese to the pizza and forgot other ingredients that had been payed extra for. The pizza was cut into 6 slices, which were all uneven. 1 1/4, 2 1/8’s, and the rest into either small or huge slices. And they didn’t even cut the pizza all the way properly as the cardboard box was sliced through while many parts of the pizza were not. Even the pizza itself was bad, burnt black crusts, burnt toppings and piled all the toppings onto the centre. However had very little toppings. I do not suggest to go the this pizza place. The $5 pizza from dominos was better then the $25 garbage from here. Although, if you are crazy enough to buy from here, get the pesto calazone as it’s pretty good.
