Filthy! No one cleans the tables, filthy cutlery. Do not recommend. Thank you owner, I appreciate your feedback and would like to explain our experience for clarity. My husband and I were out for our 10year wedding anniversary and noticed your Carindale store, we remembered having a good experience at a different location so decided we would pop in. Upon arrival we were greeted, served which I can't fault that. Looking around to be seated we quickly noticed tables full of dirty dishes and a few tables that needed wiping so we avoided those. While being seated we were served our food which included cutlery that still had remnants of the last customers order. These were kindly swapped out for a clean set and we continued to dine. The store did not have many patrons and at one point my husband and I were the only ones there. We spent approximately 45 minutes in your store and the photos attached are the tables that were close to us and how we saw them when we arrived and sadly they sat like that until we left. We stayed because we really wanted to enjoy the experience but we ended up walking away asking ourselves if the front of house is left like that what's the back look like... I hope your store does improve, so I can update and change my review to positive one at some point in the future.

Great food, sticky tables. Oh dear. First of all, not a big deal to me as I was there for the crepes which were amazing. Coffee was great too and everything arrived quickly. I can see others have complained about the state of the tables and it's obvious they prioritise food preparation and serving to table wiping. Their web team leaves a nice templated response saying how that's not their standard and they'll pass on the feedback to Carindale management. But obviously nothing has changed over the last year and one can assume nothing will change until new management is in place. If sticky tables are a problem for you then you might want to rethink eating here. Otherwise enjoy. I did!

Dirty! We sat at 3 different tables because there were many unwiped and sticky tables. We would have just left however we ordered before we sat down. No, it was not busy at all with only 2 other tables taken other than ours, so a busy easter holiday rush was not the reason tables were unwiped. A table still had 2 shakes not cleared and they remained there the entire time we stayed (approx 30 mins). This is not my first time visiting Max Brenners but was my 2nd time at the Carindale one and I'm not too Impressed. If the workers can't clear tables it's no wonder they don't bother to wipe them either. Perhaps that was the reason for the empty tables?

If there is a Zero star, I will put it for this place. I gave them 3 chances, however, they became worse and worse than before. First, the cutlery (forks, knifes, cups and plates, and tap water) were so dirty (I have some photos for them before use). So I give them zero for cleaning and safety. Second, The waffle and the desserts are unprofessional. I believe that they bought all the things from Coles and cut them in a small plate with an expensive price. To be honest, my kids make better desserts than them. Finally, I will never ever go to this place again.

Absolutely loved my cappuccino from this Max Brenner location! A generous size for the price ($4.70), and amazing presentation. For the coffee alone I was really impressed; but the drizzled chocolate, and chocolate squares on the side was like a cherry on top! The other reviews below surprised me, as the service was super friendly and quick this evening. Will definitely be back for another coffee!

Very Dirty place, we thought this is the only problem but me and my son got Diarrhea few hrs after we ate at this place. Food looks nice but it’s not clean! Sticky tables and no one cleans it after the customers leave. The cutlery and the floor is too dirty. Only 2 people are working and doing everything. 20 mins delay for basic dessert and coffee and the place is not busy! I don’t recommend it at all, it’s horrible experience and I’d never go to this place again or any other branches.
