Botanical – Cafe Functions Events

This cafe is right outside the Botanical Gardens, the place.from.where you can trek to Mount Coot-Tha. The garden itself is so beautiful and this is a beauty spot on a beauty. We totally enjoyed our simplest yet yummiest meals, and especially the Nepalese Style Chicken Curry and Rice with papadum so tender and juicy. Attendants are helpful, and.the place has quite a casual vibe. If you are looking for something yummy wrapped with simplicity, this is your place.

This is a nice place to have morning tea or lunch before wandering through the truly beautiful gardens. It's a casual place with plenty of space, natural light and views to the gardens. There is a great range of food options, either from the cabinet or ordered from the kitchen. The service was friendly and helpful and our meals didn't take long to arrive. My vegetarian quiche was tasty, had crisp pastry and my Greek salad was fresh and delicious. My partner enjoyed his waygu beef burger and chips. Both meals were very generous servings and they were good value.

Food and drink was incredibly disappointing and expensive, my partner had the worst chicken parmigiana he's ever had and I just got to watch as I couldn't eat anything. Despite having gluten free options counter staff had no knowledge of gluten free options and didn't feel safe to eat here. Wouldn't recommend whatsoever
