West End Sushi Buffet

It's really not that bad as some people said before. I think it just depends what you expect. Yes they have very less sushi with 'real' fish but they have at least 8 vegetarian sushi variations (and other ones with tuna etc). It's no actual restaurant (you have to pay on a counter, no table service, plastic cutlery) but for the price it's still great. The papaya salad they had tasted amazing and they even had a miso soup, dessert and green tea. We're the only two guests but they refilled everything without asking for it.

Undoubtedly , it is cheap in price. I can say food hygiene is good and fresh, they just put a small portion outside and keep refilling the sushi time by time. But, don’t expect too much, as it is not the common type sushi. Some sushi’s ingredients are strange, like the egg sushi, it just taste like sandwiches, not a sushi. Majority of the sushis are not bad, if you are just looking for an all-you-can-eat meal with a cheap price, this place is a good choice for you. But, you would like to try the Japanese style sushi, I won’t suggest this shop. 1 star is for the food quality, although it’s not in my expectations, but still have something I like to eat. 1 star is for the price which is really valuable, $29 for 2 people on Groupon. 1 star is for the service, I really appreciate their efforts. They reply my comment on Google within an hour, so I decide to rewrite my comment. Suggestions to the shop: 1. Some seaweed of the sushi is too wet, it becomes too chewy. 2. The edamame bean is a bit bitter, not the taste I usually have.

Not the yummiest place I've been too. It is cheap but considering the amount of food I eat... I can pay an extra $5-10 and really enjoy my sushi elsewhere. The selection here is very limited with no raw fish sushi. The taste isn't there either for me. There is no ambience and so there isn't much to enjoy here but the service. The staff were lovely. This is just my opinion though. I don't eat much but do like to try different places and I don't like to "judge a book by its cover" as I've been to many places with awful service, limited menu but has fantastic food. A little offended by the owners comments, so edited my review to note that this is my personal opinion and in no way saying that the owner is dishonest.

For $15, you can get as much as you can, however, the food quality isn't good enough to persuade myself to get more. You can tell the food are not fresh. And when we were having lunch, a whole brunch of Chinese tour came in. The whole buffet session is stuffed with them and the food gone and no one even bothered to refill. The cooked food is cold and terrible. And guys, don't expect salmon :)

Feeling a bit under the weather these couple of days like there are blades in my throat or should I say GLASS in my sushi ;) Came in tonight (10th of August 2017) with a groupon ($29 for two, all you can eat), found a piece of glass in my sushi, after informing the staff, they simply responded "oh okay our fault" 1/10
