Bellissimo - Bulimba

Fantastic coffee and also an amazing selection of beans. The atmosphere is terrific and has a real authentic vibe. The food is served hot and fast. I moved from Melbourne in 2021 and this has to be one of my top “must try” spots in Brisbane. Only feedback I would give is to possibly try and line the table orders up as my friends were finishing their breakfast when I received my meal to my table - possibly a question about how many are ordering food at your table or something along those lines.

Bellissimo is one of our favourite roasters in Brisbane, and we visit Bellissimo in Bulimba as it's fairly easy to find parking around here. We also like to take a walk by the river after our coffee sessions. The vibe has definitely changed since the upgrade, and it took us a while to get used to it. It's not a bad change, it's just different. I really like the new tables, chairs and serveware. I don't think they serve all the coffee bean varieties available at the Fortitude Valley store, but the coffees themselves are good here. Overall, we always have a good experience here and I'm sure it'll be the same in the future.

Bellissimo is always packed- and for good reason ! It was our first visit since the new renos (I’m an introvert who hates crowds) we came early and found a quiet table at the back - this place us lush 🥰 Can I say, I think one of the best things to come out of Covid is QR code ordering - find a free table and order to your hearts content on your phone, service straight to table - it makes me so happy ☺️ I ordered the popular Bircher and an almond flat white - we already know the coffee is going to be amazing (only critique was it needed to be hotter - it was warm at best) - but the food 🤤 the photo speaks for itself and great value at $13.50 - no that’s not a typo !! Easily $16 at other locals - kid you not - one bowl and I was more than satisfied - the coconut yogurt and nut / seed crumbs are 💯 %

Very disappointed. Living locally, we decided to try this place post renovation. We ordered the fish and chips dish for $25. The two pieces of fish served were very small. Have a look at the photo, the two pieces of fish are the size of the tines of a dining fork! Smaller than the lemon wedge. And they were battered, so mostly inflated with air inside the batter, rather than actual fish. What is also disappointing is that this was deliberate, not a one off or an error, as a couple seated two tables away from us ordered the same dish and made the same complaint. I believe for a $25 meal, you clearly are not getting what you paid for! I ordered a coffee and after two follow ups, it arrived 25 minutes later. We won’t be going back. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

It used to be the best But after renovation it seems the staff lost their enthusiasm … Today I came 5:35 pm and the only service that they can provide is only take away coffee. They are too lazy to bring some cakes from upstairs as they already cleaned the oven and ready to close. In the past I used to have my coffee in mugs 5:55pm. I gave it two stars just because the coffee beans and I sure the coffee quality still perfect. ALAS for the old style and old staff
