beautiful cafe with two stories, they are work friendly and have reasonable prices as well! carrot cake (£3.05) was a little too sweet for my preference, but i loved the smooth flat white (£3). they also have plugs and wifi for work, will definitely be back

I think Bakesmiths is great. They do my favorite flat white in Clifton. Great sandwiches and toasties. A nice place to sit. Recommended! If they did coffee beans in bigger bags I'd buy those from here too.

Lovely place with nice vegan options for cakes and toasties & lots of tasty iced teas etc. Would rate 5 stars but unfortunately 50p charge for oat milk:(

Was nice enough coffee and cake. Not a fan of the wooden cutlery etc, just get metal ones and wash them. Same goes for paper cups, get some mugs if people are dining in

The food here is truly wonderful and the value is seriously impressive. Their tomatoes are a go to Friday lunch for me! The service is always really friendly too! The only issue I have with Bakesmiths is the fact that if you eat in you are served your drinks in disposable cups, it’s really disappointing when everything else about this place is so great.

Nice tea and toastie. Not sure why these places that seem to portray themselves as sustainable/green etc serve tea and coffee and milk in disposable cups and use wooden cutlery. OK much better than single use plastic but still single use. Surely its much greener to use cups, cutlery and milk jugs you can reuse 1000s of times. And much nicer to drink out of too. Plus a minor gripe where are you meant to put the teabags from your cup. I had to get up and use a plastic coffee cup lid

Very few people upstairs at the time, seating didn't encourage you to stay for long. But the food downstairs looked delicious.

Great independent coffee shop in Clifton. The cakes are amazing, coffee is lovely and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Ok seating downstairs, but upstairs have amazing comfy chairs, unfortunately it's not always open. We'll worth a visit if you're in area and have time for a coffee ☕️.

come here at least once a month for the unreal toasties on offer. for £5.90, these toasties will cure your hangover or just set you up for a great day. always so much variety (especially if you’re vegan) and they change the options regularly. their sandwiches are also great. coffee is very tasty but a shame that non-dairy milk is 50p extra! ask for a student discount too
