A place that at first seems like a lovely, quaint little café tucked away on cotham hill, turns out to be so much more! Hosted by a range of lovely staff who are always down to give good conversation and recommendations, who make some of the best coffee around, this place is a community in and of itself. At 1b youll feel welcomed, and thats what makes it the best café in bristol!

I need to stop going here so much but its just so good! Coffee, Pastries and lunch food are great and the staff create a really friendly and light hearted atmosphere. Matt, Mikey and Co really do a great job here!

Really friendly little cafe with a small courtyard out back that catches a lot of sun, a few tables inside, and a few out front. Vegan pastries from Forest Bakery are top notch and the coffee is good too. Minor Figures oat milk (not Oatly) but made with love nonetheless. Omni food and drink available too. Dogs welcome.

Visited 1B Pitville awhile ago which absolutely love the warm vibes of the place! It is a great place to enjoy a little catch-up with friends. We ordered Flat white, croissant and a curry toastie last time. Love the coffee with rich aroma and flavour. The food are really good as well, and they have a wide range of vg option as well!

1B Pitville is a warm and welcoming independently run cafe on Cotham Hill (Pitville Place, in fact).
The team here is joyful and professional, and they make everyone feel at ease and at home.
Predominantly vegetarian with a selection of plant based options. Both the savoury and sweet offerings are excellent.
Amazing coffee from local roasters. They have a wonderfully curated range of coffee brewing techniques, with the batch brew being outstanding.
