Mitchell's Fish Market

This was my first visit and I was extremely satisfied. The reviews were good and helpful and also very accurate. I started with the Lobster Bisque and it was creamy and had good flavor. No actual Lobster meat in it though. I dipped the fresh sourdough bread into it and really liked it. For the entree, I had the Mitchell’s Market Trio that includes grilled shrimp,crab cake and grilled salmon. Crab cake was the star it was very good. Asparagus and red potato mash were also tasty. Overall nothing to complain about since the staff was attentive and always around with a great attitude. I’ll certainly be back.

I have been in this place twice, one for lunch and one for dinner. For lunch, I ordered the Tuna Bowl, and it was delicious, very fresh and balanced. For dinner, we order the Tuna poke as appetizers for share, again, very fresh and balanced, really good (if you like raw fish). As main course we tried the crab stuffed salmon (very good) and the ginger crusted salmon (good, but could be tasteful).

Took my family and parents out for dinner last night and was extremely underwhelmed by the service and food. Our food was extremely late to the table. Other guests, many who arrived after us, received and finished their food before we received ours. Our waiter blamed it on the careful preparation of my wife’s dairy restriction, but all she got was a simple grilled salmon so I don’t believe that. I believe the order was lost or not put in at all because he even came back and asked what we ordered after about a half hour. We received our drinks and appetizers in an appropriate amount of time, but our food almost didn’t seem worth it when it finally came out. And truthfully, it wasn’t. All our vegetables were undercooked, the portions were very small, and overall not worth the price and TIME. Again, underwhelmed by the food and service.
