Moondoggy's Pizza & Pub

This was a mixed bag of a review. Let me start with the food. The homemade marinara and meatballs are great. The sauce is a little sweet, which is great. That's how Grandma made it. The homemade bread could use presentation work, but the flavor was really good. The pizza was good and a GF crust was available. The atmosphere was good. Lots of TV's for games and they seem to do a decent bar business. Now the service. This was the biggest problem. Other than bar patrons we were the only ones there. Should have been 5-star, but it wasn't. The waitresses and some other employee were talking at a table. Took us too long to get menus, drinks, and food. We ordered salad that never arrived. The side was wrong in the sandwich. The waitress never came back to check in. I had to hunt down the bartender to get my waitress to give me my check. If they fix the front of the house service, the back of the house product will carry them to success.

Very good food very friendly servers. This was our 3rd time there and every time we go there they are fast and friendly. Tonight we had Georgia as our server and she was fast, friendly and efficient very polite. We also talked to the new owner who was also very friendly. We now have a new pizza place whenever we are craving pizza. Keep up the good work

Great combinations for pizza toppings, wasn't sure which one to choose they all sounded delicious. We got the dirty bird on a thin crust. It tasted delicious, it could have been cooked a little longer so the crust was a little more crisp. When we picked up the slices to eat they flopped over. A good cleaning of the bathroom is in order.
