Grilliant

So I came back for a second time. Gave this place another try especially with the Salmon kabob plate. Last time I tried the salmon it was a little dry but this time it was perfect. It was moist and juicy. Costumer service was excellent but still a longer wait to receive the food. I didn't really mind. I shall return.

The food and ambiance is decent. A bit on the tiny side but the food is delicious. The side of fries they offer is a good shareable portion. The spring mix salad didn't really quite catch my attention as the salad dressing was pretty overwhelming. I ordered the beef filet kabob and it was filling. A bit overpriced, yet it was decent. I'd probably go again to try the fries and a wrap. The waitress kind of gave me some attitude as I walked in as I didn't know what direction she was heading to and our table was not properly wiped down.

Food was good. We tried this place to experience something different. I had a grilled chicken flatbread- it was a chicken wrap. Not what I expected but still good. Came with a mixed greens side salad and the dressing was perfect. I did try the fries and they were good too. They were training a new person but he was catching on quick. Poor guy spilled ketchup when he brought fries to the table but he apologized and quickly cleaned it up. The bathroom smelled like bleach and that is always a welcome smell for me.

I celebrated my birthday earlier this evening in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we had a pleasant evening and the place was unquestionably one of the reasons for the happy meeting. The stuff collaborated in a graceful style, the cooking was delicious and my buddies were very glad. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Grilliant was NOT brilliant! The beef filet kabob was $17 for about 5 bites of meat, it came with grilled vegetables which consisted of one slice of onion one slice of zucchini and a ton of bell peppers, the rice was bland and they forgot to include the fries we got as our side! Such a let down! The chicken wrap was a tortilla and and not a pita like I was hoping for when I decided to go here in the first place and the hummus was grainy and flavorless. To top it off the service was lackluster, the cashier seemed like she’d rather be scraping her grandmothers toe-jam than working.

Wow.. I'm rarely in this area, but now I'm definitely going to swing by this place when I'm in the neighborhood for Porto's! First and foremost, the place is PET-FRIENDLY! There's amble seating inside and out. Food is fresh, yummy, and unique. Ambience is definitely nice and casual. I especially like their use of reclaimed wood throughout their space. I came here on a Saturday for lunch and there was plenty of FREE 2 hour street parking around the corner. The hummus and the grade tomato salad are definitely things I would get in to-go tubs if they have that option! Haha... I've been told they would in the near future so I'm looking forward to it. The Organic Quinoa Salad had a nice light and fresh taste to it. I can definitely imagine myself eating a whole bowl of it for lunch. Thankfully, I had my partner in crime so I was able to try a lot of other things I wouldn't otherwise try. The Beef Kabob Plate is definitely A LOT of food for the money. Coupled with yogurt and salsa, it just makes everything on the plate more and more addictive with every bite. I'm not a rice person, but I have to hand it to them that they know how to cook their rice and I ate A LOT more rice than I usually would! The Chocolate Strawberries are a MUST TRY if you still have room in the stomach for it. I've never thought I'll eat chocolate strawberries as good as the ones I had in a Mediterranean restaurant of all places. The chocolate was soft and creamy and doesn't fall apart when you bite into it. I like how they have the lemonade, iced tea and water available on the side for self service. I was able to make my own Arnold Palmer to my liking! Fast and friendly service are definitely icing on the cake. I look forward to bringing my doggies for a visit in the near future!
