Update: returned here and the size of the salt n proper chips has definitely increased! We also sat out in the beer garden which was really nice in the sun. + Warm, homely atmosphere + Polite and hard working staff + Wide selection of gins, including some they make in house. Recommend the homemade cucumber gin. + Tapas style food was very nice. The tacos were great. - Some of the food dishes are very overpriced though. 'SNP' chips were £4.50 for just over a handful of fries. Very nice, but over double the price they should have been. Would probably be a 5* review if the food prices were more reasonable. They tell you straight away it's a serve yourself kind of place, which was fine by us as you can order and pay at your own pace - so don't go in expecting to be waited on, it's not that kind of place. Once you understand that it's a really nice little bar and I'll definitely come back.
