We ordered several of their dishes one night, loved all of them so much that the next 4 days we ordered from the same place! Every night we placed our order over the phone, they said it would take 15/20 minutes, and it never took more than that. Loved the food and the experience! Highly recommended!

Dined in and ordered the lamb biryani, BBQ platter, chicken karahi and naans. The lamb biryani was probably the stand out item of the three we ordered. It had unique spices and flavor and was decent as compared to biryani served at most desi restaurants in the city. The seekh kebabs which were served as part of the BBQ platter did not have a good taste (become rough - most likely reheated). The chicken karahi wasn't great either, it was essentially chicken dipped in tomato paste . Total for all items was $63 and the service overall wasn't bad.

This restaurant will physically abuse you if you question their advertised price. I was willing to pay the amount that they rang through at the restaurant, but I wanted to help them out to let them know it's false advertising by SkipTheDishes. As soon as I said that, the owner (I assume) came out from the back and actually physically assaulted me by pushing me. I could charge him for assault but I was more so confused as to what just happened. They claim they cancelled their contract with Skip. Yet, Skip is still advertising on behalf of their business? If you are able to place an order from them through Skip, I'll bet they lied to me.

great service !! the two ladies (rama and the one with the hijab i forgot her name *_*) are so loveable and caring they really make it feel like home ! the food was soooo goood , the kebabs were juicy and tasty, nihari -🧑‍🍳💋 and the biryani was just GREAT GREAT GREEEATTTT!! inshallah may their business keep running and everyone should definitely go here - you won’t regret it !!!

Ate their food tonight. The food itself was good but the female waitstaff was incredibly rude. When we first ordered and were trying to pay, she said we could pay after eating. At around 9.10 we requested to-go boxes (which obviously precedes paying and departing from a restaurant). We were just about to stand up to pay and leave when the lady abruptly goes "can you just pay me so I can go?" Now, I get it. Restaurants have to close out their cash register at night before closing. The fact of paying is not the issue. The issue is the bluntness and rudeness of wording it that way. In any decent restaurant, a waitress would've come over to the table and said, "how'd you like the food? Good? Great, just so you know we will be closing shortly so we just need to clean up and wrap things up". Something worded like this drives the message home that they need to close so please pay and we can all go home. That I would have been fine with. Bluntly telling people to "pay me", as if youre our landlord or something, is impolite. I got up and paid, tip and all. After paying, I politely and with a smile told the server that she could have gotten the same message across but with polite wording. Instead of owning up to the mistake, she doubled down, got really defensive and rude, without realizing how rude she was being. After getting really annoyed I reminded her that my colleague and I dont have to eat at their restaurant and won't ever again if she behaves this way, yet she was adamant and became ruder. We got frustrated and left. We are both new to Calgary and have other young professional colleagues who have recently moved into the city so rest assured, none of us will ever come to this place ever again.

We have been visiting Mirchi Restaurant for over 10 years now, the quality and taste of the food is always great, their employees are very courteous make you feel like family. We love their food, my favourites are White Chicker Karahi, Malai Boti and Mirchi Kababs. I would highly recommend visiting this place if you like BBQ and Karahi items.

Extremely BAD Experience. I called this place today afternoon and asked the guy about availability of a food item. He responded so rudely and roughly that I was surprised. When I asked him to correct his behaviour, he got more aggressive and started using abusive language. I would request owner to look into it. I would never recommend this place.
