Mulligan's Restaurant And Lounge Valley Ridge Golf Course

Super nice patio and really great experience overall! After hitting the driving range just had a pint each and the infamous Fish and Chips! The fish was Haddock and the batter was seasoned perfectly with a really nice light crunch. The tartar sauce is the absolute best! The fries were seasoned well as well and were super crispy. Ate them with gravy that was rich and beefy! Went back again and another great experience! Had the Happy Valley Old Fashioned that was prepared tableside with a smoked glass. Started with the Calamari which were served in huge chunks, fried nicely, and had great tatziki with it. Tried the daily special Steak Sandwich which was a fantastic steak sandwich cooked perfectly and had a really unique seasoning! The side Caesar Salad had a nice amount of bacon, parmesan, and croutons and the dressing was delicious with a slight sweetness. Service again was attentive and friendly! Have now gone back a dozen times and every time we are blown away. Amazing food and super delicious Pork Schnitzel and Korean Chicken Sandwich!

Places was really busy, and service was slow. We had made reservations, and we showed up they did not show us on the list. After looking a bit closer, it looked like they checked someone else in for our reservation. The hostess apologized and gave us the last available table. Following that, it took about 10mins before the first visit by our server with some waters, than another 20 mins to take drinks order. We ordered appies at that time and the food came out quick. The wings were good. We ordered our mains, and that came out pretty quick as well, only one mistake, but due to slow service was stuck with what we ordered. When I got the bill I confirmed I wasnt charged for the missed item. The food was good, service could be better. I still provided a good tip as the supporting staff did a really good job, so I hope they get a share.

We live in Valley Ridge and frequent Mulligans often. We have two small kids and they absolutely love it here, they refer to it as the “Restaurant” and like to give their comparisons when we go ANYWHERE else... They have always been incredibly attentive and nice. The food is great, they always have specials which are great and add a nice mix. You can tell the Chef tries hard and he’s always mingling amongst the crowd checking in to see that everyone is happy. This is exactly how a community focused restaurant should be. Their patio is great in the summer too! 10/10 would recommend.
