Starbucks

This is the closest Starbucks to where I work, so I've been ordering coffee for the last 6 or 7 weeks. I order on the app, and I always put "NO FOAM." At other stores, I get a cup of coffee with no foam, but not here. I'm not sure if they don't read the sticker or they simply don't care. Sometimes, I feel like they do it on purpose. At the beginning, I would tell them, "Hey, here it says 'no foam,'" so they would give me attitude and make another coffee. Sometimes, this girl would say, "A latte has to have foam," which is not true because I have ordered a latte without foam from other stores, and they have absolutely no problem making it. I found out that ordering there and telling them "no foam" in person was a better idea because they would make it right. However, the point on ordering ahead was to avoid waiting at the store. If I had the time, I'd make my own coffee at home. I'm very frustrated because if I was getting the coffee for free, then I wouldn't mind how they want to make it, but that's not the case. I'm paying like $6 or $7 for a cup of coffee, so I would love to get it however I want it. I ordered a coffee today, and it had as much foam as they wanted to put in it. I seriously don't have the time or patience to say anything to them anymore, so I guess I have to miserably accept my coffee however they want to make it.

I've gone to many Starbucks and I've always had a great experience, but this Starbucks is exceptional. Everybody there is beaning with joy and they are always happy. I have seen the Starbucks packed almost every time we go in and they never seem like they are stressed or mad or anything like that. They always make great drinks, but it really is about how they treat you here and I hope that everybody knows how amazing the workers are here!

Stopped in for a coffee and a spot to work on some stuff on laptop and to write a letter. It's right on the main drag of Carlsbad with surprisingly adequate parking nearby. The inside is a bit compact, but some might call it "cozy". The lining up area blocks the bathroom access and runs right next to seating, so it was a bit awkward to be standing there. I only got a simple coffee, so I can't speak for the quality of their fancier options. They have ApplePay making it feel the 21st century. The seating inside was limited and a group of younger guys were just on their phones with no beverages in sight. Kind of disappointing that they didn't clear out at that point. Outside seating was pleasant enough, but definitely a bit noisy due to passing traffic.
