Al's Cafe In The Village

Picked based of reviews. Now we know why. Great food. The staff is exceptional. We had the spam Benedict with rice which didn’t scream the salty flavor some places tend to make it. Hubby had the lumberjack and let’s just say he didn’t talk. Our son stole his pancakes because of the fluffy and delicious taste. Thanks for our Sunday brunch mimosas! Definitely a spot to revisit!

Had the worst experience here today. It was clear they did not want to serve us. We sat ourselves, after waiting 10+ minutes of sitting down waiting for our waiter/server one came around and said our waiter/server was “busy” and did not have time to attend us right away but that she would come soon, then a different waiter/server came by who we thought was our waiter/server, mind you this is now 15 minutes later, and she quickly came by our table and said “I don’t know who your waiter/server is but someone will come by soon” then she went to attend a party of 4 who had just got there not even 5 minutes before she came around. When we first got there they also stared us down like if we were from a different planet. Right away you could tell they were trying to avoid us. They never once apologized for the wait or tried to communicate to their waiters/servers that we were waiting to order. Never coming here again and I will also be spreading the word about this place.
