Sleeping Tiger Coffees

This place has changed a lot over the years and its current state is the best yet! Inside is a wine bar on one side and coffee bar on the other. Both offer tasty beverages! They often have local musicians performing and have a cute, eclectic patio to enjoy. Definitely check it out! Be sure to enjoy the sleeping tiger mural outside too. This location is near the end of our Carlsbad Village Route and makes a great pit stop! ☕️ 🍷 🐅

We quite literally stumbled upon this place by accident en route to Starbucks, because they are physically right next to each other. Friends, do yourselves a favor and come here instead! The coffee is sooo good. Super fresh, strong, and local. There aren't as many menu options as Starbucks, but you can of course customize your drink, and everything they do offer here, they make extremely well. They even offer oat milk! Sleeping Tiger shares a space with Witch Creek Winery, and is fabulous in every aspect. The physical space is absolutely adorable. There's an outdoor "Garden Gift Shop" that is incredibly well curated. There are all sorts of trinkets, furniture, and succulents available to purchase, and everything is arranged in such an inventive way. There's a good sized patio, but most of the seats aren't covered. There is, however, a covered outdoor private area for large groups or events. Lastly, Sleeping Tiger is dog friendly, which is such a nice bonus. They even have a few water bowls set out for pups
