Buca Di Beppo Italian Restaurant

MEDIOCRE AT BEST!! The food here is very forgettable. Menu items are overpriced for what you get. Buca di Beppo used to be much better before they got bought out by Planet Hollywood International in 2008. After they got bought out, the menu completely changed from good to bad. Prices increased and portions got smaller. Kind of what happened to Claim Jumper. It was a lose, lose situation after that if you ask me. Had the bread here today, it was very stale and no flavor. Had stuffed pasta shells and it was very bland. It seriously tasted like frozen pasta you buy at the grocery store and put in the oven. NOT GOOD at all. The chicken tasted undercooked and I didn't care for the cream sauce they used. I also ordered the sausage which had no flavor and the Italian cake I had here was nothing special. Was very disappointing. The ONLY FOOD I liked here was the antipasto salad and the Margherita pizza which was pretty good. Just thought the pizza should have been cooked a little longer and be served hotter. The ONLY THING I like about this restaurant is the atmosphere here. Which I find to be unique and fun. Service here was slow. Very short staffed for a big restaurant which is unfortunate. I would recommend the Mexican restaurant next door, "Casa de Bandini" if you are in the area. That place is very good.

If your eating at this place it's (hopefully) because you like or love Italian food. My family (which when we get together, there's usually over 12 of us) and I like going here due to the availability of getting seats for a big group and the portions are generous for sharing. We come here perhaps twice a year, specially when we have large gatherings. The food is good (It doesn't compare to real Italian food, but then again, that's usually the case with most other ethnic food restaurants). Overall, the service is usually an 8 out of 10 and it's a great place for large groups. There are smaller tables to choose from if your party is small.

The food looks delicious and people spoke highly of it so imagine my surprise when we received our food and it was bland. Yes it looked delicious but the flavors were not there. It truly missed the mark. Except the salad. The salad is packed with so much lively, bold, and intense flavor that ordering that alone is sufficient to make the trip here worth it.

It was freezing cold inside the restaurant ..so uncomfortable. We had a group of 8. The food was slow, the quality was just ‘ok’ They have zero gluten free pasta. The dish they did have to accommodate my gluten free needs was chicken, flattened paper thin, small serving, I was starving when leaving the restaurant. The prices are crazy expensive. Very disappointing overall.

The service was really good but the food was over priced and honestly not that great. My intention was to eat a case de bandini but the wait was over an hour. This place was next door with no wait. Well I should of known. Like I said the server was really good and he got our food fast but it just wasn't very good food especially for the price.
