Luna Grill La Costa

We ordered a full family meal , and honestly I couldn’t enjoy the food because I had no silverware, we got it ordered to a house that is being renovated and working .. literally disappointed I had to eat with my fingers that it felt so annoying and I couldn’t eat my salad and basically my $90 lunch … I couldn’t enjoy nor will I order from a place that can’t provide me the essentials to eat .

The food portions are small for the price, their payment system suggests "TIPPING" with options for 15%, 18%, 20% tip. I came with my grandma, it is our first time here, we ordered our food, I was not asked if I wanted fries or rice on my "el Greco street bowl" it was "assumed" that I wanted fries. In the menu, under "wraps and more" it states "includes fries" for the following section. The "beyond burger" is in this section, fries are not included for this item. Minus 1 star for poor portion size to price, Minus 1 star for misleading menu, Minus 1 star for poor customer service, despite including a tip. (Tip is expected, it seems...) We had to order fries separately, and were charged full price. The person who took our order was not helpful, despite us specifying it's our first time here. I would not recommend to a friend, or anyone who values their dollar.

Typical Luna Grill experience- extremely friendly service, generous portions, and tasty food. The chicken, rice, salad, and gyro we shared were all very good. I tried their pomegranate lemonade (pomerade?) and it was good. They have an interesting selection of fountain drinks. They have indoor and outdoor dining. If you sit outside you’ll be able to hear the live entertainment at Bushfire Grill. On the downside, their restroom needed some serious attention.

Great service and food! This was our first time at Luna Grill. Nate took our order and he was so patient and knowledgeable. Not being familiar with the food I had a ton of questions and Nate was able to answer them all and give us tips! I am vegan and my husband is not, so it can get a little tricky because we like to share plates. Nate was able to provide us a solution where we could share a plate but each have our own protein. I had the falafels and my husband had the gyro meat, both were delicious! I also appreciate Nate telling us about the rewards program and app, which saved us money and we got a free appetizer! We will be coming back for sure!

Staff was patient while I decided what to order and everything did taste like it was made fresh. They have good choices if lemonade and teas compared to other fast casual places. One little gripe I have is how the staff did not manage some 6 year olds who ordered food and would constantly climb over their counter. They would then do pretend fist fights and cuddling all over the payment area. No adult in sight to keep in check and staff letting it happen.
