This was my first visit to Hunan Chef and I was very pleased with the results. Sadly, there is no in-restaurant dining and all orders are "take away" or delivery. I stopped in for a late lunch and took it home. It only took about a 10 minute wait. They do an impressive amount of to go orders that I noted during my short wait. I really enjoyed the Sesame chicken with broccoli, an eggroll, fried rice and a cup of hot and sour soup. Everything was freshly made and still warm and very tasty when I got home. Looking forward to a return visit soon - - even if it's only "to go"! They have a fairly extensive lunch and dinner menu and I look forward to trying many different items!

They need to remodel this place. It is dark and gloomy. No one in there smiles, they look depressed. The food tastes great but I love great energy just as much as great tasting food.

My husband and I drive 45 minutes to eat here and it’s worth every mile I promise. Food is delicious and at a great price. The female owner is so kind and goes above and beyond customer service. Seriously, just eat here and you’ll see.

Finally found a place with good lemon chicken that is close by. Me and my girls loved it. The sesame chicken was pretty good too, but that's all we had. We will return. Wish they could do more for contactless pickup but small business has it tough enough right now.

Almos $15 for fried rice an 2 egg rolls is expensive when the food is not good, I’ve been coming here since I moved to cedar park. I don’t know why or who’s cooking but the taste is definitely not the same, no flavor meat is hard and chewy not fresh at all and the egg rolls were burnt. Not coming back.

Customer service here is horrendous, they barely get customers as it is especially with COVID going on. On top of that the staff no type of masks on. Would never recommend eating or coming here they need to be shut down

Absolutely the best Chinese food in the Cedar park area! Their food is always fresh and they have the best egg drop as well.
