I had nothing bad to say about the Chambersburg Family Diner. The food was better than expected, the staff was very nice, and the restaurant was clean and neat. The restroom has foot pedals to open the door so you don't have to touch the handles which is great. And there are some arcade games for kids with Microban technology (the claw!) I would definitely eat here again.

Attentive friendly staff. Relaxing environment and perfect for the entire family. If your lucky and it's the right season you may even spot the ducks. :-)

I hate to do this to any diner, but this place is not what I'd hoped for. We ordered 4 wraps. They took almost 40 minutes to be served. By then, we had to leave. The server was very nice. I fear her tip was stolen by the girl who was bussing the table.
The food: not worth a 40 minute wait. Maybe this was their idea of how tuna salad is made, but it wasn't my style. It wasn't awful, but it didn't need to be whatever it was. It did nothing for it.

The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is courteous. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Chambersburg. I have yet to find something I didn't like on the menu and I have several allergies that they're more than willing to accommodate. If I could give it more than five stars I would.

The owner greeted us at our table and is very proud of this place. The service was excellent and the food extremely delicious. The onion soup was very good and quesadilla was loaded with chicken. Well worth visiting. Great spot to stop along Highway 81.

We lucked out and got to this place at a time when they were not all that busy. We were seated immediately, and our friendly server Beth arrived quickly to take our drink orders. Brewing of a fresh pot of coffee ensued. Our main problem with the menu was too many choices that looked good. Once we made our decision and ordered, the food arrived promptly and was exactly as requested. We had not been here before, but will probably be back to eat here again.

The service was great! The food was not so much. Instead of throwing a ton of sub par food at us try actually cooking and serving homemade food. Instant mashed potato and yellow gravy from a food service. This is why you are not busy. Anyone can make instant junk and open a can. What a wasted opportunity to have something special in a busy location. Cooking is not heating up canned or frozen food.

Large menu which is never a good sign. Burgers, steak, seafood, Italian, all day breakfast. Got an omelette that was decent. I added a piece of sausage and was charged $4.99 (1 sausage patty). Hash browns were not hot. Best thing I got was the toast. I doubt I'd go back.
